I am
requesting a transfer to a different student home. The past couple
of months I have been facing a very difficult change when I
received new houseparents. With all of my
previous houseparents for the most part I have enjoyed the
student home. Now as I arrive to the student home I experience an
extreme lack of motivation not only in the student home, but also
in academics. I have been trying to not let these circumstances
affect my school work or my abilities in the student home, but it
gets harder and harder every day. Between the screaming and whining
children and the pure chaos in the student home I don't think I
can handle another year. It was tough for me to concentrate on
getting any of my homework done once this change was in place, and
I know that juror year is going to be an important year for me so
it would be nice if I was in a calmer atmosphere. I am also not
happy here and I’ve been really stressed. Normally I am
pretty good at transitioning but this is a transition that I am not
able to cope with. However, I did want to give these new
houseparents a chance, and that is why I delayed this email until
the end of the year. I know that the Mulles are very good people I
just think that student home Hoover can no longer fulfill my needs
as a student. I am generally a good student both behaviorally and
academically, so I hope that you will graciously consider this
request.
