So.
At.
My.
School.
We had an anti-bully rally today.
The motivational speaker at the end had a surprise...
He told us about a girl that used to go to our school,
but she left a few months ago because the bullying was so bad.
He said she was coming back today for the rally and everyone should
reach
out to her and make her feel welcome.
She came out.
EVERYONE,
even
the so called
'popular'
kids, stood up and cheered for
her
at the top of their lungs and clapped for her.
Stuff like this gives me hope.
When the rally ended, I went up to the motivational speaker
and the girl,
I gave the girl a hug (even though I didn't know her) and told
her I was proud of her,
and I thanked the motivational speaker with a handshake.
After, I cried my eyes out.
I will NEVER forget how this
experience made me feel.
