I love writing and English class. I read a lot, and hopefully I will be able to publish an independent novel I am writing. I am in cosmetology school and I plan on becoming a nail technician. I also plan on studying Greek mythology and classical civilization after high school. I love Nicki Minaj, Harry Potter, Supernatural, court TV and literature. I work in a pizza shop.

Quotes by SidewaysJill

"Hey baby I've got a plan,
Run away as fast as you can . . ."
-Kanye West
Me: *takes wet hair out of a messy bun*
Me: *stomps into sister's room*
Me: "Why can't my hair always look like this?"
Me: *strikes model pose*
Sister: *straight-facing*
Sister: "'Cause you'd look awful bad."
Now that I'm going through these quotes that I once thought were so creative and amazing, I realize how many of them are found on iFunny and Reddit and I'm just really disappointed.
I could make this a fancy quote, but I'll leave it simple. A simple thing made my day today, so I believe this is fitting.
We were in gym class. I am not athletically inclined, so when the teachers put us on teams and told us we were playing ultimate frisbee, I kind of got scared. There were two other teams watching us.
Three "jocks" were on my team, along with two other girls. The boys were very good at the game and confident and loud, and started playing. I stood and watched and tried not to get noticed so I wouldn't have to play. Finally, the one boy kept looking at me (and he's not too bad looking himself) and then he handed me the frisbee and told me to kick off.
We were playing frisbee. Why would I "kick off"?
I said I didn't know what that meant and he said, "Here, just throw it," and so I did. It went completely in the wrong direction but he smiled and clapped and said, "That a girl, Paige!" and ran to get the frisbee.
Never talked to him before in my life.
But I won't forget that.

"Hope. It is the only thing stronger than fear."
-President Snow
"You can't break no Christmas promise."
~Helen from Drake & Josh
So, today,
We were reading a story from the early 1900's in my Advanced Honors English class.
The teacher asked someone to volunteer to read.
He put his hand up.
I was a bit shocked at first.
He is more sporty, athletic and popular.
He has a bit of a problem with his 'r's and a tiny lisp, which I think is cute.
He started to read.
I listened very carefully.
He mispronounced one word, which was a very hard word seeing as the story uses vocabulary from the 1900's.
The teacher immediately interrupted and told him the right way to say the word, in a very rude manner.
She didn't even wait till the end of the sentence.
I just kept following along with the words, knowing he could do it.
Again, he messed up a word, and she interrupted. Another word, she interrupted.
Everybody had a copy of the book.
We were all following along.
We knew what he meant.
But she wouldn't stop interrupting.
Almost every time he mispronounced a word, she corrected him. Eventually she started rolling her eyes and sighing.
But you know what?
Dane finished the whole page.
He didn't even look at her when she corrected him; he didn't look at the jerks across the room who were laughing.
He did it.
He finished the whole page without giving up.

He doesn't know it,
but I'm proud.

*when you dream about someone it's proven that they're dreaming about you, too!*
Tom Felton is dreaming about me?
...

Sounds good.

Patrick: Maybe a story will cheer you up.

Patrick: It's called "The Ugly Barnacle."

Patrick: Once there was an ugly barnacle

Patrick: And he was so ugly that everyone died.

Patrick: The End.

Me: What.

Me: I'm the ugly barnacle.

Me: That's my life.

~Albus Dumbledore
