I fell in love with what people told me about you. They’d say you were like this big adventure, full of freedom and love and success. They said you might sometimes get unpleasant but that it’d never last too long. Since a very young age, I’ve been dreaming about you and all the things we would do and I couldn’t wait and I was so in love with you. But they lied. And it broke my heart to see the real you. You’re cruel, unfair and you bring so much pain to everyone you touch. And I’m so wounded by what you turned out to be it hurts more and more with every breath. And I really wish I could feel the same towards you as before but I can’t forget what you did to everyone, and I can’t unsee what you truly are. Dear life, you disappointed me.

They say suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Sometimes that problem isn't so temporary.

But I know, people who don't say much are actually saying lots inside.

He claims he's dating me whenever he notices someone picking on me.

Before you get to know him, he's all sly smiles and crude comments.

As beautiful as he was cruel, it was the harsh reality I would have to accept.

Maybe when someone falls for you, they learn to love every part of you. Good or bad. And when they do, they see the worth in yourself that you can't see because they've already loved the insecurities you haven't learned to accept yet.
