Jack and Mai are very different
in more ways than one: Jack's smart, Mai's not;
Jack's rich, Mai's poor; Jack's American, Mai's
Chinese. Yet they are very alike in other ways.
Despite their differences, this unlikely pair could work out. If
only certain people would stop holding them back...
When Jack tells Mai how he really feels, Mai doesn't believe
him. She thinks he is winding her up, playing a cruel joke on
her. Jack is crushed, but vows that he will never give up. But
then Mai develops feelings for him, and regrets saying no. But
she can't let him know that, so she hides her feelings. She
also thinks that Jack is dating Laila Gracie, a gorgeous
cheerleader who often makes fun of Mai. Laila has had a crush on
Jack for about forever, and is delighted when she finds out
everyone thinks they're dating, so plays up to the fact. But
Jack doesn't feel the same about her.
Will Jack and Mai finally get together?
Not What They Seem.

Cherish (Cheri) Caraway
isn't exactly a normal teenager. She lives with her dad and
stepmum, Tessa, - none of which she likes - as well as her dad
and Tessa's four children, her half-brothers and sisters,
Taylor-Jayne (TJ), Bobbi-Lee (Bobbi), Tom and Billy - so she is
constantly being pushed aside.
Her relationship is getting too complicated, her family useless,
her dreams in tatters and her happiness gone on holiday, she has
noone to turn to, with the exception of her eccentric, upbeat
friend Nikki Kershaw and her mild, on-edge friend Ivy
Caine.
Sorry they're both so long, lol.
Also, Mai was previously called China to honour the country
she's from, but I changed it so Mai. I also considered Lin
and Ling, but thought Mai fitted best.
So,
what do you think?

It's short, yeah, but

*I did not make and will not take credit for Kyle's
speech. It is from the BBC's Reggie Yates:Teen Gangs,
which I had to watch in LS360 at school as we are currently
studying knife crime.
