Pitching the old farm boots
Chapter 3- Part 1 (had to split it.)

“So,” James spoke up as we walked down the empty hallways, “Welcome to Ryderville High.” He smiled at me. I looked up into his bright blue eyes. Once again, To-Die-For.
“Thanks.” I shyly said. I wasn’t that much of a talker when it came to people I don’t really know. That’s why I barely went with my dad on business. I wouldn’t talk, so why bother going? Plus, all the conversations were about the newest boots. I’d rather be out it the free country, exercising for soccer.
So, you’ve guessed it. Yes. I play soccer. I started about the age of 5, but stopped when my Mom passed away. It was her favorite sport, and It killed me every time I played. It always reminded me of her. I started working on getting back into soccer this summer. I hope I can get on this high school’s soccer team without having a break down.
I wish she didn’t go.
“Are you alright?” I snapped out of my thoughts. Back into reality. I looked up into James’ worried eyes.
“yeah. I’m fine.” I smiled up at him and he put his arm around my shoulder. Chills went down my spine as he touched me. A strange sensation filled my stomach as we walked into my first class, Science. I looked around the classroom. Of course, like always, students were staring at me. I looked up at the teacher and handed her a slip the office gave me for being late. The teacher smiled at me and then looked at James and gave him a look. Almost instantly he released his arm from my shoulder and rushed to his seat.

Pitching the old farm boots
   Chapter 2

I grabbed my book bag and walked downstairs for breakfast. My dad had hired a chef for me since he wouldn’t be home and I couldn’t even pour cereal. Eggs and bacon were on the table, and right as I walked in, the chef walked out of the house, and drove away.
I ate my breakfast in private, and then headed for school. I grabbed my silver keys on the counter and took one last look in the mirror. I wore a plaid light blue shirt with light blue skinny jeans, slightly ripped at the hip and knees. I wore my dark brown cowgirl boots to show my country heritage and then walked out the door. My dark brown hair hung down just slightly above my hips.
I walked to school since it was only a few blocks down, and right as I walked up to the school all eyes were on me.
Take a deep breath Sierra, you’ll be fine. I said to myself as I entered the building. Eyes popped out at me, making me feel uncomfortable, whispers all over the school, people looking me up and down, judging my taste in style. Just as I suspected.
I quickly made my way to the front office and was greeted by the principle
“Hello!” he said, holding out a hand which I gladly shook. “You must be Sierra.” I smiled.
“yes sir.” I said with a slight southern accent.
“Well, welcome aboard! We paired you up with a student, because you and him have the same schedule. He’ll be guiding you around and If any questions pop up in your head,  he’d be more than happy to answer them.” He then gestured a boy who appeared behind him.
“This is James.” He said. The boy held out his hand and I once again shook it.
“Hello.” I smiled as he did.
He was tall, about 5 inches taller than me. But about everybody was…I was 5’0 tall. He had muscles but not too muscular. You could tell he was into soccer because he wore soccer shorts. He was wearing a t-shirt and had curly hair. He was tan, and had dimples. His smile was to-die for, and you could tell he was quite popular. You could just tell.
He was quite cute, but, I’m sure he had a girlfriend. Plus, I’ve never had a boyfriend before. Being isolated and all, the only friends I had were girls, and then my father.

Pitching the old farm boots
   Chapter 1

I woke up fresh this morning. 5 am bright and early, but only to notice that I had no farm work to do. I’m in the city now. No more farm. No more open land. No more riding quads. I sighed and walked quietly on my tan colored carpet to the shower. I washed up for my new day at Ryderville High.
Hello!!!. My name is Sierra. I’m 14 years old and grew up on a farm in Tennessee my whole life. It’s the best out there. All free, doing anything you want. I only had a few friends back at the farm. We were isolated from quite a bit but that’s the way I liked it. I couldn’t have felt any better out there. But now my dad had to take a new job as a CEO of Uggs Australia. He travels all the time, leaving me home alone. My mother died years ago to a trucking accident. She was one of my best friend. That’s one of the reasons why I like the country. I get to think about things out there. But now we’ve moved. To a village. City life. I’d rather have the country. There’s nothing better than the Country.
Now you may have thought that since my dad is CEO of Uggs Australia, that I’m some girly girl who likes to wear all designer brands. No. I don’t. As I said, the country is the best for me. That’s why I was so devastated when my dad told me we were moving.
“Dad!” I shouted as tears rolled down my face. “We can’t move! I love my life here! I can’t leave this place. Mom wouldn’t want us to leave!” My dad looked at me with sorrowful eyes. He knew that I was right, but he couldn’t say no to this offer. Now that my mom is gone, he has to pay for both of us, and he can’t afford our house. And the 80 acres we own.
“I’m sorry honey.” He patted my shoulder trying to comfort me. I cried on his chest when he pulled me in for a hug. And soon fell asleep from being to exhausted. Crying takes quite a bit of work.

Confessions

Chapter 15

I looked up at Tommy.
"What happened to you?" he stared at me.

"Nothing." he coldly said.
"What? But your .. here. dead?" I looked up worried now
"open your eyes Danielle.Open them."

Open your eyes. Repeated in my head.

I opened them again.
This time it was still white
But it was a room.
I was lying in a bed, and I noticed Tommy layiing on the couch, staring at the ceiling.

"tommy." i said. But I could only whisper.

"danielle." he sat up and stared at me. And then bursted out crying
"Your all right!" he smiled and ran to give me a hug.

I looked up at him.
" ilove you." i said.
"I love you too." and then closed my eyes.

Tommy sang to me Safe And Sound by Taylor Swift. Just like I did to Karen.

You and I'll be
safe
and
sound.

Confessions

Chapter 14

I woke up in a place full of light.
No. I said. No.

It couldnt be. I looked down. And to my right and left.
"Morning." i heard someone say. I turned around to see Tommy. White clothes. Bright.
"Where are we." i looked around at the place full of white lights.
"Heaven." he whispered.
I looked up at him.
"what happened." I whispered.

Your father shot you.
I then remembered. The blood. Pouring out of me. A puddle. Just like Karen.
Wait, Karen.

"Sissy?" I heard a faint voice say. I turned around and the wet spots formed in my eyes, pouring down my cheeks.
"Karen." I smiled and pulled her in. We cried in each other's arms for what seemed like hours.

Then it hit me
I was dead
because my father shot me

What happened to Tommy.

A/N: I think its way to cheesy...might rewrite it. Feedback please. Should she die? Should she not? Should Tommy die?!?!??!

Confessions

Chapter 13

I looked up at him.
"please dont hurt me" i whispered.
"you wish." he said and pushed me inside, and turned me around, pointing something at my back.
"Up to your room." he said.
I did as I was told. But I was scared to death. Just like last time

*Flashback*
"Please dont hurt me" I said, my hair in pig tails and my teddy bear right next to me.
"you wish." he said, and picked me up by the ear and dragged me to the other wall, away from my older sister, Karen.

Tears were rolling down my face as he pointed the gun at my forehead.
"Please dont." i kept saying to myself. "Please."
He placed his other hand on the gun, ready to fire, when all of a sudden Karen jumped on his back and grabbed the gun. She pointed it at him but before she could shoot punched and kicked her.
She realeased the gun.
"NO!!!" I shouted as he pulled the trigger.
And then he ran.
And I was sitting in my own sister's pool of blood.
'Youll be alright." i said as I heard the sirens going off. Approaching us. I combed her hair and sang to her.
"You and I'll be safe, and, sound." i sang
and then the paremedics came in, dragging my dead sister out of the house.
And then me.

*Present Day*

I sat in the corner of the room, like last time.
I was only 7 years old.
I looked up at him.
And the shot fired
I was surrounded in a red puddle before I passed out.

Confessions

Chapter 12

The next day I woke up in my house.
I got home pretty late, but it was okay because Jacob was spending the night at a friends for the next 2 days.
I got up and ran downstairs to make waffles.
I then got a text from Tommy.
Tommy at 11:00am: Hey beautiful
Me at 11:01am: Hey. Come over in an hour?
Tommy at 11:02am: Ofcourse, beautiful xx
Me at 11:02am: See you then babe<3

I set down my phone and decided to get a shower. I looked pretty bad with my hair all knotted and smeared makeup from the rain.
I sang "Up all Night" by One Direction during the shower and then jumped out.

I threw on

and right as i finished putting on mascara on the doorbell rang.
I silently squealed.
"Tommy!!"
I ran down the stairs and opened the door.
"oh my god." i whispered

Infront of me was a man.
Black coat, gray suit, mean eyes,
I recognized this man.
This man was my father

Who killed my sister.

Confessions

Chapter 10

Tommy:
She just kissed me.
And I had to admit, I loved it.
But I had a girlfriend?
Who cheats on me too....
I know she cheats on me. I Just never found the proof to break up with her.
But I want Danielle.
I had a blank expression on my face. Thoughts were running around in my head. I was just too confused to talk.
"I'm so sorry." I heard Danielle say. And she got up. The first tear rolled down her face. I knew there were more. Should I? No. Remember Tommy, you have a girlfriend..

But the girl of your dreams is crying right infront of me.

She ran out before I could make a move. I was going to run after her, but right as I got up, Samantha, my girlfriend, called me.
I had to pick up.
"Hello?" I answered
"Hey babe!" she squealed through the phone. Her voice was getting more and more irritating.
"Hi." i said again.
"so I was thinking, you and me should be friends." I didnt speak through the phone. I had to break up with her before she broke up with me
"We're done." i said quickly and hung up my phone.

Oh god.
I mumbled as I threw my phone on the bed.
Danielle.

I grabbed my jacket and ran outside. It was now raining, and I could see Danielle running to the park down the road. Why was she out in the rain?

I ran after her
"Danielle!" I shouted, running faster and faster with each step.
