His sentence was cut in half with me screaming ‘I’M COMING CEEJAY!’ I squeezed my hair to get the wet out. I grabbed my towel wrapped it round me and opened the door to CJ’s angry face. ‘You have been in the shower for over an hour! I’m surprised you dont look like Nan, with all your wrinkles.’ He growled at me, trying to insult me. ‘Shut up, Caleb’ I cried after him as he shut the door, his towels in tow. I walked into my bedroom and dried myself and slipped on my pyjamas and fur boots. I trotted downstairs and scuffed into the kitchen. I grabbed a piece of bread out the cupboard and was met with the sight of my parents arguing about who get the last pickle. ‘Here we have the male and female species arguing over today’s pickle rations’ I commentated on their argument. My mom turned to me and said ‘yeah, ok Roxi. Get the dishes done.’
