Stole My Heart
Chapter 3
Stole My Heart
Chapter 1
"Megan, wake up!" I heard my mom call up the
stairs.
"Kayy.." I moaned back.
"Megan, I mean it. Don't just say you'll get up.
Actually get up!" she yelled.
"Okay, mom!" I yelled back, aggrevated.
I rolled over and looked at my phone.
6:55am
I groaned.
"Mom, can't I just skip school today?"
No answer.
I'll take that as a no.
Oh, I should probably introduce myself!
I'm Megan Emily Greene.
My nickname is Meg, and my initials are Meg.
I think my parents did it on purpose.
I'm 17 years old, and a senior in high school.
I have a little sister, Maddie, who is 13.
I also have a baby brother, Colton, who is only 7 months old.
I love singing.
I play the guitar, and also piano.
I'm not really good at talking about myself, so let's
continue with my story.
I got out of bed and took a shower.
Once I finished my shower, I put on my clothes, did my makeup,
and straightened my hair.
I went downstair and went into the kitchen.
"Morning, Meg."
"Hey Maddie."
"Can you take your sister to school today?" my mom
asked.
"Uhm, no. You're making go to that stupid One Direction
concert with her tonight, I think that's punishment
enough."
"Megan Emily."
"Fine.."
"One Direction isn't stupid, Megan." Maddie
said.
"Yeah, if you say so." I replied.
I hate One Direction. I think they're full of themselves.
"Let's go." I told Maddie, and walked out to my car
without waiting for her.
I started the car and waited.
2 minutes passed, so I honked the horn.
Maddie ran out wearing a One Direction shirt.
I rolled my eyes.
~~~
I dropped off Maddie, and pulled into my high schools parking
lot.
I grabbed my bag and walked in to my locker.
My best friend, Cory was there waiting for me.
"Excited for One Direction tonight?" he teased.
I smacked his arm. "Shut up, I don't wanna hear the name
'One Direction' at all today."
He laughed and walked me to my first class.
~~~
"Have fun tonight. Try not to fall in love with the
boys." Cory teased as I got in my car.
I rolled my eyes "Not gonna happen." I told him.
"See you Monday." he said.
Today's Friday, and I have to spend my weekend listening to
One Direction.
I went to my sisters school and picked her up.
"Ready?" she said.
"No." I replied.
"Very funny. I put our suitcases in the trunck last night.
Let's go!" she said, very excited.
We live in Texas, and the show was in Atlanta, Georgia. I
can't believe my mom said yes to us going.
I was hoping for a no...
~~~
6 hours later, we pulled into the parking lot of the hotel we
were staying at.
Maddie was passed out in the backseat.
"Wake up, Directionator, or whatever you call
yourself." I said.
She instantly woke up, "I'm not a Directionator!!
I'm a DirectionER." she yelled.
"Okay whatever, just get up."
We got out of the car, grabbed our suitcases and tried to head
in, but we were stopped by a wall of girls.
No. Please. Anything but this.
I grabbed Maddie's hand, and pushed my way through the
girls.
I saw signs that said "I ♥ One Direction!" and
"I love Carrots!" and "I love Kevin!"
Ect.
They made no sense.
I'm pretty sure there's nobody with the name Kevin in the
band, from what I know.
Don't tell me One Direction is staying here.
I kept pushing my way through until we reached the door.
There was a security guard on the inside, and I showed him my
luggage.
"Please let me in, my sister and I are staying here!" I
yelled in.
He opened the door, and I ran in, pulling Maddie with me.
She fell to the floor, and I laughed.
"Holy crap." was the only thing she could say.
I walked over to the check-in lady, and gave her my name.
"Megan Greene. My mom called and reserved a room, or
something."
"Let me check."
She turned to her computer and scrolled through a bunch of random
stuff.
"Ah, here we are. Room 10091." she said, and handed me
a room card.
"Thanks. Maddie, let's go." I said.
She was still on the floor.
"Get up." I said, and pulled on her arm.
"One. Direction. Staying here?" she asked.
"I don't know. I hope not." I replied.
"I bet they are." she said as a huge grin spread across
her face.
New story! Hope you like it!
Chapter 47
Avia's P.O.V.
~7 years later~
"Mommy! Mommy!" a little voice called out.
I could hear the thumping of the little boys feet running up the
stairs.
"Mommy, where are you?" he asked.
"I'm in here, Colton." I replied.
The little boy with brown hair and brown eyes like his daddy
walked around the corner.
"Mommy, when is daddy coming home?"
"He'll be home in a few minutes, sweetie." I
replied.
"When is Josie gonna wake up?" he asked.
"I don't know. Let's go play with your trains till
she does." I said.
"Okay!" he squealed, and ran back downstairs.
I guess I should probably catch you up on what's happened in
the past 7 years.
Well, Dave and I dated for 3 years. Then he finally built up the
courage to ask me to marry him.
I was 19, and he was 20.
Of course, I said yes.
We got married two months later.
We had a spring wedding, and it was beautiful.
After the wedding, we honeymooned in Australia.
Then, 9 months later, we had our first baby boy, Colton.
When Colton was born, I was 20.
After Colton was born, Joel proposed to Sophie.
She said no the first time, but then he asked again and she said
yes!
After they got married, I got pregnant with our little girl
Josie.
She was born 3 months ago, and I'm now 23.
My parents moved back from Kentucky, and now we're
neighbors.
Dave works at the pizzeria down the road.
And you know what?
I'm really happy that I got to be their house
guest.
Chapter 46
Dave's P.O.V.
"Well, here we are." I said as we pulled up to the
gym.
"Okay guys. The door's locked, but when I unlock it, I
have to run to the back and turn off the alarm before 45 seconds
is up, or else the alarm will go off, and the police will
come." Avia explained. "So Joel, Brad, and Sophie, you
guys can wake up Corbin and explain what happened."
"What'll I do?" I asked.
"You can come with me." She said with a smile.
Avia and I got out of the car, and walked up to the door.
She unlocked the door, then looked at me.
"When I open the door, I have to run to the back of the gym
to put in the passcode to turn off the alarm. Try to keep up,
okay?" she said and winked.
I chuckled, and she opened the door.
All the lights were off except for one in the back.
Avia ran as fast as she could, and I followed behind her.
There were countless obstacles in the way.
Like a trampoline that we had to go around. Then we had to make
sure we didn't fall in the foam pit. Then we had to run
around the balance beam.
Finally we made it to the back.
Avia frantically put in the passcode, and it said "Alarm
deactivated."
"Jeez, that was like deactivating a bomb." I said.
"Yeah, it gets your adrenaline pumping." she replied.
"Let's turn on the lights."
Avia brought me over to a big box with a bunch of switches.
"You can only turn on the ones on this side" she said
pointing to the right side "but not these." she said
pointing to the other side.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because the world will explode."
"No really, why can't you turn on those?"
"Because they turn on the lights in the basement, and
we're not going down there. It's too creepy."
Chapter 45
Dave's P.O.V.
"Oh hey guys!" Katie said as she greeted us with
hugs.
She smelled of beer and cigarettes.
"So I'm guessing your parents aren't home?"
Brad asked.
"Of course not! Do you really think I would have this kind
of party if they were here?!" Katie exclaimed.
"We're all underage. How'd you get the beer and
stuff?" Sophie asked.
"Older brother. Duh." Katie said.
Corbin walked into the room with Lauren by his side.
Avia squeezed my hand as soon as she saw them.
Corbin was drunk as can be, and Lauren was totally fine.
"H-Hey guyssss." Corbin said.
"What happened to him?!" Avia exclaimed.
"He's drunk, smart one." Lauren said.
"He doesn't drink!" Avia yelled.
"I know that." Lauren spat. "I had to trick him
into drinking it."
Avia gasped. "Why would you do that?" she asked, a
little concerned.
"So I can take advantage of him..?" Lauren said as if
it were obvious.
Avia squeezed my hand even harder. It kind of hurt.
She then let go, walked over to Lauren, and punched her square in
the nose.
Katie screamed, Lauren fell to the floor, and Sophie cheered her
on.
I ran over to Avia and grabbed her before she could do anything
else.
"What are you doing!?" I yelled.
"I know what Corbin did to me was wrong, but now what Lauren
is doing is worse. We have to get Corbin home." she said,
almost in tears.
"I agree." Sophie said joining me and Avia. "Joel,
Brad, take Corbin out to the car. We're leaving."
Brad and Joel did as they were told, and Corbin just went with
it. He was too drunk to even know what was going on.
"You guys are leaving?! But you just got here!" Katie
yelled.
"This is a terrible party. And it's definitely against
the law, so yes. We're leaving." Avia said.
At that moment, I was really proud to say Avia is my
girlfriend.
She took my hand and we went outside.
When we got out there, Joel and Brad were having trouble getting
Corbin in the car.
"Can't we just leave him on the curb and the trash
trucks can pick him up in the morning?" Joel said.
"No!" Avia exclaimed, and slapped his shoulder.
I helped the guys, and we managed to get him in and buckled.
We all climbed in the car, and we left.
"Are we bringing Corbin home?" I asked.
"No, he'll be in so much trouble.." Avia said.
"Lemme see your phone."
I pulled it out of my pocket once we reached a red light and
handed it to her.
"I'll text his mom and tell her he's sleeping over
your house tonight." she said.
I really don't want to share my house with the guy that broke
Avia's heart, but if it's what she wants, then it's
okay.
"So are we going back to my house?" I asked.
"Hm.. Let's go to my parents gym." Avia said.
Her parents bought a really big building, and they turned it into
a gymnastics gym. There's trampolines and foam pits, and
mats, and ropes to climb, and everything. It's a really fun
place.
"Yes!" Brad shouted from the back. "I love your
parents gym!"
"Isn't it locked though?" I asked.
"I have the key on my keychain." Avia said, holding up
her keys.
"Woo!" Brad shouted again.
"Brad stop yelling, you're gonna wake up Corbin."
Avia said laughing a little.
"Sorry." Brad whispered. "Woo."
"Corbin stinks." Sophie said.
"It's not that bad.." Avia said.
"Yes it is! You're not the one sitting next to
him!"
"Here." Avia said pulling out a small bottle of
perfume. "Spray him with this."
"Then he'll smell like a girl." Joel said.
"Would you rather him smell like beer and cigarettes?"
I asked.
"No.." Joel and Sophie said at the same time.
"Then put this on him." Avia said, and tossed the
perfume.
Chapter 44
Dave's P.O.V.
We pulled up to the party, and we could hear the music from the
car.
I climbed out of the car, and ran around to Avia's side.
I opened the door for her and helped her out.
"The music's really loud..." she said.
She looked a little nervous. I could see it in her eyes.
"Are you okay?" I asked her. "You look
nervous."
"I just really hope there's no drinking.." she
said.
She's so innocent. I wouldn't mind a drink or two, but if
Avia doesn't like it, then I won't have it.
"I don't think there will be." I said, trying to
comfort her.
We walked up to the door, and Sophie knocked.
The door flung open, and standing there was Corbin.
Avia instantly grabbed my hand.
Corbin turned faceing into the house and yelled "More people
are here!"
We then heard cheering from inside.
"I think he's drunk." Avia whispered.
"H-hey. You're lookin' HOT tonight, Avia."
Corbin said as we walked by him.
"Yep. Definitely drunk." She said.
The lights were dimmed, and there was smoke in the air.
"It smells terrible in here." I said.
"Yeah, it's disgusting." Avia replied.
We walked out to the kitchen to find Katie and her boyfriend
making out.
"Classy." Sophie said, and they instantly pulled
appart.
Again, sorry it's so short.
My parents are kicking me off the computer.
I'll continue tomorrow. :)
Chapter 43
Avia's P.O.V.
"Should I wear lipstick tonight?" Sophie asked.
"Depends... Which color?" I replied
"This one." She said, holding up a bright red.
"That's a little much for this kind of party.." I
told her.
We were getting ready for Katie's party.
"Well then how about this one?" She said, holding up a
darker red.
"Yeah, that works." I replied.
We were in her room. Sophie has a big vanity mirror, and she put
white Christmas lights around it.
It looks really cool.
Sophie decided to wear a little black strapless dress, while me
on the other hand, decided on skinnies, and a nice flowy
shirt.
-knock knock-
"What?" Sophie said.
"Are you girls dressed?" the voice asked.
It was a male voice, but I didn't recognize it.
"Yeah, why?" Sophie asked.
"Can we come in?" the voice asked again.
"Sure." Sophie replied.
The door opened, and Brad, Joel, and Dave walked in.
"Brad?" I said kind of confused.
"Avia?" He mimicked.
"I didn't know you were going to the party." I told
him.
"Yeah, I am. Katie texted me a little while ago, so I texted
Dave and asked if he was going, and he said he was, so, here I
am." he explained.
"Well cool." I said, and went back to putting on
eyeliner.
Dave walked over to me, and put his arms around my waist, and
placed his chin on my shoulder.
"Stop." he whispered.
"Stop what?" I asked.
"Stop putting on makeup. You're beautiful without
it." he said.
I felt myself blushing.
"Thanks.." I smiled.
He pulled out his phone from his pocket, and went to the
camera.
"Smile." he said, pointing it at the mirror.
"Wait! Lemme finish putting on my makeup!"
I quickly finished putting on my eyeliner, and mascara, and we
took a picture.
"Wait, let's take another one." he said, as I began
to pull away.
"Okay." I said as I looked in the mirror and
smiled.
Suddenly I felt lips on my cheek.
"Wait." I said.
He pulled away from me and I looked at him.
I put my hand on his cheek, and kissed him on the lips.
He then took the picture, and I pulled away.
"Well, looks like I've got a new background." He
said.
Sorry this chapter is kind of short.
And, I'm so so SO sorry that I haven't written a new
chapter in almost a month.
I'm back, and I'm gonna write more chapters more
often.
I hope I didn't lose any readers!
Chapter 42
Avia's P.O.V.
We were sitting at the kitchen table, eating pizza and
talking.
Buzz.
Buzz.
Buzz.
Buzz.
All of our phones buzzed with a text.
"That was weird." Sophie said.
We pulled out our phones and read the text.
Katie:
"Hey everyone! Well, I'm having a party at my house this
Friday, at 7 till mid-night, or whenever you feel like leaving!
So, text me back and let me know if you're coming or not so
we have enough food and drinks. And wear something nice.
:)"
"Wanna go?" Joel asked us.
"Sure, why not?" Dave said.
I smiled, and replied to the text.
Me to Katie:
"Hey, thanks for the invite. I'll be there! :)"
"Do you guys wanna watch a movie?" Sophie asked us.
"What movie?" I asked.
"How about Hercules?" Joel suggested.
Dave and I looked at each other and laughed.
Sophie and Joel exchanged confused looks.
"What's so funny?" Sophie asked.
"Nothing." I laughed.
"How about we watch the notebook." Dave said with a
girly voice.
"No, how about a scary movie?" Joel said.
"I've never seen a scary movie before. The scariest
I've seen is Lord of the Rings." I said.
"That's not even scary." Joel said.
"Exactly."
"Why don't we watch Lord of the Rings?" Dave
suggested.
"Yeah, let's watch that." I said.
"That's fine with me." Sophie said.
"Alright, let's go." Joel said.
We all got up, and put our plates in the sink.
"I'm gonna go grab a hoodie." I said.
"Are you cold?" Dave asked.
"No, I'm just gonna get a hoodie for fun." I
teased.
"Come upstairs with me." he said.
He took my hand, and we headed upstairs.
"Get the movie ready. We'll be right back." Dave
told Sophie.
We ran upstairs, hand in hand, and ran to his room.
He let go of my hand, and opened his closet.
"Pick one." he said, pointing to his hoodies and
flannels.
"You know you probably won't get it back for a while,
right?" I asked.
"Yeah, I know." he smiled.
I picked out a blue hoodie, and put it on.
"You're so cute." he said.
I could feel myself blushing.
He put his arms out, and I hugged him.
"Guys! Hurry up!" Sophie yelled from downstairs.
I giggled and let go of Dave.
I poked his stomach, and he chuckled.
"My turn." he said with a smirk.
I turned around and ran down the hallway.
I could hear him following me, and he was getting closer.
I got to the stairs, and soared down them.
I went around the corner, in and out of the kitchen, and into the
living room.
When I got in the living room, I ran and jumped over the couch,
and sat in between Sophie and Joel on the second couch.
"Uh.." Joel said.
Then Dave came running in and jumped over the first couch.
"What are you guys doing?!" Sophie exclaimed.
"Oh, nothing." I said, out of breath.
Dave scooted to the end of the couch, and patted next to him for
me to sit.
I got up, and sat next to him.
He put his arm around me, and Sophie started the
movie.
