Preface




I wasn't always this way. I used to be happy. I used to smile. I used to laugh. I used to be normal. I don't know how it got like this. I guess it started about three years ago, after my mom's mother, and my grandma, died. That's when things started to take a turn for the worse. That's when my life completely changed.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. These scars that I'm ashamed to call my own, are not from my cat. These tears are not running down my cheeks because my stomach hurts, or I have a head-ache. These burns are not on my stomach because the straightener "slipped" out of my hand. This pain isn't dwelling on my heart just for fun. This kind of hurt, is real.
