Chapter four.
"Hey!" Alyssa tapped the guy on the shoulder. She was soo dumb sometimes.
"Hi." He turned around, he was even more yummy close up.
"i'm Alyssa, and this is Sariena. We couldn't help but notice you were all alone." She acted casual, but i could tell he wasn't buying it.
"i'm Chase. how old are you?" he was looking at me, i could see from the corner of my eye! i met his stare.
"Fourteen." i answered.
"Cool. Me too!" He said. "i'm new here. i start school on Monday actually."
"Wow, that's really cool." i said, trying to keep my cool.
"Wanna hang out with us?" Alyssa cut in.
"Sure." He looked kinda eager. Or maybe the eager one was me..
We sat down and we talked. i found out he was reallly chill. i also found out i really liked him. He was soo different from all the other boys. Chase seemed to be nicer, and he seemed to know how to actually treat a girl.
"Do you know what homeroom you're in?" i asked him.
"i think i'm in 207?" he didn't sound completely sure.
"That's mine!" i said.
Wow, we have so much in common! We're totally gonna date! Well, i hope.
"Awesome!" he laughed.
i giggled.
"Hey, Sariena. i gotta go. My mom needs me home. Call me later, okay? Nice to meet you, Chase. See you Monday maybe?" She said as she grabbed her purse and left.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" Chase asked, nervously.
"Nothing. Why?" i tried not to sound too excited.
"Would you maybe wanna go somewhere?"
"Like on a date?" i tried to flirt.
"uhh, Yeah."
"i'd love to." YES! Chase asked me out!! i could not wait to tell Alyssa!
"Can i have your number?"
We exchanged numbers, and he had to go. i did too.
i called my mom to get a ride home. She picked me and Kyle up because his movie was over. i must have looked waay tooo happy! Cause mom and Kyle both said something to me about it.
"i'll tell you later." i whispered to Kyle. i left mom hanging. i figured i'd tell her later, too.

Chapter three.
Me and Kyle met up with Alyssa and Carrie in front of JCPenny's. When we headed into the mall, Alyssa wanted to head into Forever 21 for some new shoes.
"Sariena! Look at these sandals! They would match soo perfectly with your summer dress from Wet Seal!" Alyssa yelled from across the store. Her long, brunette curls bouncing as she hopped to get the sandals just out of her reach.
"Alyssa, no need to scream." i said on my way over. "But they are extremely cute!" i add.
"i knoww!" sometimes, Alyssa got too excited over little things like that.
Alyssa handed me the sandals before walking away to the jewelry.
i had $60 worth of babysitting money in my purse along with $30 mom handed me before i got out of the car. i didn't really want to spend it all tonight, since Alyssa would be asking me next Saturday to go shopping again.
"Where's Kyle and Carrie?" Alyssa said, as she came back over to me, holding a yellow Forever 21 bag.
"They went over to Gilly Hicks, i think. Wanna head over?" i put the sandals back.
"You're not gonna buy those?"
"i have a pair kind of similar already."
"Oh, okay... let's go then."
i love this store. Gilly Hicks is my absolute favorite store in this whole mall. it's completely for girls, and the center is lipglosses and perfumes. The sides are clothes, and the back of the store is completely bras. It's amazing - if you're a girl that is.
i can tell that Kyle is bored out of his mind as he sit outside the store on the comfy chairs set up for customers to sit on.
"Carrie's inside." He tells us as we walk by him.
"Okay. Sariena, you go in. i'll sit out here with Kyle. This store isn't my favorite." Alyssa said as she plopped down on a comfy chair next to Kyle.
"Kay. Be out soon!" i said.
After hitting every other store in the mall that interested us, we settled down for some smoothies on the second floor. Just me and Alyssa, seeing as Kyle and Carrie left for the movies half an hour ago.
"So how are you and Tyler?" i asked.
"Okay, i guess. He's not a very good kisser though, Sariena. i don't know if i should be patient with him or not. What do you think?"
"i think you should give him a little time. not everyone's as perfect as you, Alyssa." i joked.
She rolled her eyes.
i've been friends with Alyssa since we were seven years old. We met in first grade, and have been practically inseperable since. She's my best friend, besides Kyle - who i guess, doesn't necessarily count.
"Look!" Alyssa said, pointing me towards a boy.
"Woah." i said.
"Go talk to him." she said.
He had light brown hair and greenish blue eyes. He was absolutely gorgeous. He looked to be about 5'5". Tall, next to my 5'1".
"i can't." i said, nervously.
"Fine. i will for you, then." Alyssa said, getting up from the table with her smoothie.
i followed her.

Chapter two.
The whole ride home, Kyle was crabby. His team lost, so he was pouting in the back seat; fidgeting with his phone.
"Kyle, me and Alyssa are going to the mall tonight. She said you and Carrie are welcome to come if you want." i turned back to him.
"i think Carrie wanted to go to the movies. The big one between the mall and Shoppers' World." He replied. "i'll text her. Thanks for the offer, sis."
"We're going at five, you can always come for a few hours then walk over and catch a later movie." i offered.
"Yeah, maybe."
We pulled into the driveway at 3:35. i had about an hour and a half to shower, change, do my hair, eat, and get to the mall.
i ran in the house and up the stairs. My house wasn't the biggest, most extravagant house on the street, but it was decent. Four bedroom, two bath, two floors, and a finished basement.
Since it was raining, i decided not to even attempt to straighten my hair, knowing it would come undone in a matter of minutes outside. I took a quick shower, and scrunched my hair. i reapplied my makeup, and changed into some skinny jeans and a tank top. (Although it's mid-May, it's still not warm enough for shorts.)
"Hey, Sariena; Carrie said that we'll go to the mall then movies, like you said." Kyle said as he burst through the door.
"Kyle, can't you knock?!" i yelled out. "but, okay. Sounds good."
"Sorry, i didn't think you'd change or anything." He laughed. "Is Alyssa bringing Tyler?" he added.
Tyler was Alyssa's boyfriend. They're a recent couple.
"i'll check." i pulled out my phone, hoping that Tyler wouldn't be joining us.

Chapter one.
I never used to believe in forever. Before him, it just seemed like another word. I've heard 'forever' before. He wasn't the first one who promised it to me. He was just the first one who meant it.
I've felt heartbreak before. I've fallen in and out of love. Boys have treated me like a toy time after time. He; he's different. He always has been.
I've made a lot of mistakes in my life. I've broken a couple hearts. I've faked more smiles than i can count. More girls hate me than i could probably name.
At fourteen years old, no one believes me when i say i'm in love with him. We're too young; i've heard. But i don't believe there is an age limit on love. You can fall in love at any age. Heck, i've seen seven year olds in love. They just don't know they are.
"We need to go!" Mom screamed at me from downstairs. "If you want to get there on time!"
"Give me a second. i'll be right down!"
"Hurry up!" she was irritated with me. i was never fast enough for her.
"Kay!" i pulled my hair into a messy bun, giving up on it completely.
i ran downstairs with my purse. "Ready."
"Are you sure you want to go, Sariena? i think Jason's on the team..." My mom looked at me, caring.
"Mom, don't worry about me. Kyle goes to all my competitions. I'm going to his hockey games." i insisted.
Kyle is my twin brother. We're best friends. i'm closer to him than anyone in the world.
Jason is my ex. We were together for six months before he dumped me the day before my fourteenth birthday. Mom hates him. She used to like him, not anymore.
My mom and i have a great relationship. Since it's just me, Kyle, and mom; we're all really close. i never met my dad, he left when mom was pregnant with me and Kyle.
"i'm really lucky to have such wonderful kids who actually love eachother." mom was sincere.
"You are?" i asked.
"Yes, i am." she pulled into the ice rink.
Jason was talking to Kyle, as Kyle showed no sign of interest. Jason was the star athlete. He has blonde hair and blue eyes, and was the second most popular boy at school. Kyle, was the first. So, naturally, Jason wanted to be friends with Kyle.
Although, Kyle was the most popular boy, he never really acted like it. He hangs out with anyone. i love that he doesn't seem to see himself as better than anyone else - especially me.
i'm not the most popular girl in my school. i'm on the cheerleading squad, but i'm not captain. i'm blonde with hazel eyes that change from blue to green. Most boys don't even care about me unless i'm with Kyle...
Kyle doesn't look like me. He has brown hair and green eyes. They compliment eachother perfectly. He's dating Carrie, the head cheerleader. He's in love with her. i can tell by the way he looks at her. They are perfect for eachother, and have been dating since the summer before seventh grade, in August. They've been dating for a year and nine months now.
i wish i could have that. My longest relationship was with Nick, which lasted seven months. Not too much of an accomplishment when you're compared to my brother.
