I have to write a poem for school with the topic being family or close relationships. I usually write about depressing poems with a bit of a story to it and I want to incorporate My specialty within the topic. Any suggestions?

Friendship is a difficult thing to obtain and to hold.
if you screw up, you lose them.
if you keep them, they're there.
but are they truly there for you?

friends are there to support you through thick and thin
they should never leave your side based on what decision you make.
and fights are a presentation that they truly know you.

Question is what if you dont fight?

Are they just a fictional character there for you to manipulate?
like a chess game, everything is under your control
you choose where they go
You stratigize with them, to achieve a goal
But they'll always leave you eventually
then when by yourself, its checkmate.
 
or are you unconsiouslly using you or they're using you to gain a status and make yourself look like the bigger person.

are they a true friend if they guilt trip you?
are they a true friend if they date your ex boyfriend not long after you guys broke up?
is it ok to stop?
is it ok to end it?
is it ok to live on without them or stay behind their shadows.

which one will you choose?

its true. i am having some difficulties with my friendship with this one girl, my best friend. she started dating my ex 3 weeks after we broke up and i was wondering what u guys thought on the subject, is she a true friend or not, or should i stay with her to the end? I been with her for years but this truly feels like a betrayal and i dk what to do!!! please help!

The First Time

The first time I met her, her eyes captivated me 
She was the prettiest girl I have ever seen
With her hair as golden as a lion, and her eyes as blue as the depths of the sea.
the first time I passed her in the school hallways, I couldn't help but gaze at this heavenly being.
For a fleeting moment, I forgot everything and concentrated on her for she has stopped my breathing.
The first time I talked to her, her voice was sweet, it was as she put me on this drug that I couldn't stop reeling.

the first time I kissed her the moment was endless.
I wish time could stand still so I could savior this pure tenderness.
When I asked her for her hand her eyes filled up with tears.
and asked if we could create an endless love for the rest of our years.

but before we knew it she became sick and is in labor
She grabbed my hand and asked a favor
If I could ask one thing our love, savior.

Holding my daughter close to me.
I am captivated by her eyes the same way my wife used to be.
And I look back as my wife drops her hand.
And lies there cold as my heart is now holding to that one piece of strand.
I love you I always will, my daughter and you.
I cannot believe this love ended when it was so true.
I'll raise our daughter for the rest of my life time.
And I'll say goodbye for the last time.

friend: "dude that song is so old!"
Me: "well so is your mom... but you still listen to her."

My therapist told me the best way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what you started
so far I"ve finished off 2 bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake.

the awkward moment when you left a video on your laptop and forgot to turn it off then when you open your laptop in class the video blasts out and your justlike WASNT ME IT WASNT ME SO STOP LOOKING AT ME!!!!!!
