The point us, people would notice if you walked into town with a chainsaw on and you went into a school. People could be more aware what was happening, whereas if you walk around with a gun people don't raise their suspicious because it's perfectly legal. That's all I'm saying about it.

If guns were illegal it would be so much harder for these criminals to get possession of a gun. At the moment, it's perfectly fine to walk around with one in America. It's like me walking into a school with a chainsaw!

THat's the next thing they'll do if we ban guns is come in to a school with a chainsaw and hack up the little kids into pieces. He broke like 20 something laws, what makes you think he wouldn't break a few more. And no, It wouldn't make it harder, it'd make it easier, because they'd obtain them illegally. No, I do not think what he did was right, but banning guns wouldn't slove much either. It would just make the persons crimes a little more henious.

I'm from Australia, and this is exactly the point why guns should be banned. I mean, murders could still come at you with a knife, but that is a heck of a lot easier to stop before 27 people are killed compared to a gun. Also, "the right to bear arms" is an issue, but I think guns should be classified as a potentially murderous weapon. In Aus you need a licence to have one, and it's only for farming reasons etc. In my opinion Americans have abused the right to have guns in their possession at free will.
