So today I walked into a
desk, and it hurt, one that you can just tell that it’s going
to bruise. And currently I am reading the ghostgirl series
by Tonya Hurley, and I was thinking about how the main character
Charlotte is dead and doesn’t feel pain anymore. It then
occurred to me that feeling pain is one way we know that we are
alive. We’re here, breathing, moving, living. We have a
heartbeat and life is short so live it to the fullest. Don’t
take anything for granted. Charlotte died at the age of 17, her
parents were killed in a car accident when she was 2, then lived in
foster homes for the rest of her life, she was invisible in life,
no one paid any attention to her, then the day the guy of her
dreams notices her and talks to her…she dies by choking on a
gummy bear in the classroom, no one missed her, no one cared.
Eventually she was seen and all that. (READ THE BOOKS) But then
when she got to the other side there was no one there waiting for
her like there was for all of her classmates, all she had was a
phone that won’t ring, a dreary cold room, and the feeling of
loneliness that she has always known. Life cheated Charlotte,
don’t let it cheat you.
