The Blood Rose Series

Faded Pink- Chapter 2

The school bell then rang, and everyone rushed through the corridor's trying to get to class. A few people fell over, as their converses squeaked along the floor, pushing everyone aside. I just walked along the corridor, alone, as Freya and Aisling were in different classes as me. My hair was getting in my eyes, and as I moved the strands of hair behind my ears, James came up from behind me.
"Hey Krissy," He greeted me, smiling down at me. He had shiny blonde hair, that he would flip every now and then.
"Hey." I smiled back at him, as we walked up the stairs, I tripped on one of the blue steps and fell backwards. I felt warm hands on my back, catching me as I tripped backwards, and James helped me gain my balance.
"Thanks," I giggled a little bit, at my clumsiness.
"Haha it's alright." I heard sniggers behind me, from Ewan and Jamie who were walking behind us, laughing because I fell.
"Watch where you're going Kriss, haha." I started to laugh with them, so it wouldn't seem so embarrasing. James flipped his hair lightly as Ewan and Jamie walked past us, turning bright tomato red with laughter.
"What's that?" James pointed to the crumpled note in my purple and blue veined hand, the one from The Secret Admirer.
"Oh, someone left me a note and a faded pink rose in my locker, I don't know who it was though. Here." I handed James the note for him to inspect it, and he nodded his head and frowned, his eyebrows sliding down his eyes, as he handed me back the note as we walked into our registration class, where everyone else was already sitting down in the ancient, blue chairs.
"Huh, seem's like this guy really likes you," He pointed out to me, as he sat at the other side of the room next to Daniel, his mate.

He caught me when I fell, but he wasn't there when I fell for him.

The Blood Rose Series

Faded Pink-  Chapter 1

"Oh my gosh! Who was it from?" I heard my best friend Aisling (Ash-ling) squeal, as she tried to grab the pale white note out of my hand, but I moved it away in the air, out of her reach.
"Come on, let me see!" I hesitated, as I knew how easily-excited Aisling could get, but I sighed heavily and handed her the note, as she snatched it from my hand, smiling widely as she read it out loud.
"Dear my, beautiful Krissy..." She was interrupted by a tall, thin girl, with her beautiful, blonde hair down to her shoulders, with her sunglasses over her lovely, shimmering, hazel eyes.
"Well, well, well... Look what we have here. And oh! What's this?" The stunning girl was Allissa, she was the most popular girl in the school. She was also known as the School Who.re by many others, especially the boys on the football team, as a joke of course, as they all loved her.
"Haha, I bet you wrote that yourself, Kritty."
"Her name's Krissy." My other best friend, Freya, said, who had gorgeous, fiery, red hair, which suited her personality well. She was my best friend since primary school, year seven (grade 8). She transferred from the United States and she got bullied, but she stopped it by telling a teacher, and ever since she's gotten stronger and stronger, and she gained attitude, and she's stuck up to everyone that's bullied her and her friends. I admit, I was slightly jealous of her.

"Allissa, you'll get caught again, let's just go. I'm in enough trouble as it is." One of the girls behind Allissa had piped up, and that was Tanya. She was Freya's sister, and Tanya was a good person, she was just afraid that she would get bullied like her sister did, so she hung out with the popular kids and she never got called a bad name in her life.
"Haha okay, let's go." Allissa threw away the note in the corridor, and walked off, swooshing her golden hair off of her shoulders and letting it fall on her back.

One of the guys on the football team suddenly came running threw the corridor, running away from a teacher that was chasing him, and they both trodded on the Secret Admirer's note that had been thrown away. I quickly rushed to it, and there was a big, dirty, muddy footprint on it, and the writing from what seemed like a black, ink pen, had slightly drifted away and smudged.
"WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" Freya shouted to the football guy, as he turned his head round, still running, and bashed into a bunch of green lockers attached to the wall. He fell over and hit his head on the wall, as a group of girls crowded round him, helping him up and checking if he was okay.

The Blood Rose Series
Faded Pink-  Prologue

I grasped onto the pale white note, snowflake colour, and carefully re-read the words time and time again.  I was trying to sink the words into my head, and my heart. The words were full of pure emotion; it was obvious in the beautiful wording and the neat, but still scruffy handwriting. I was shivering out of shock, and I stood there, in front of my grey faded locker, that had the light from the large windows shining through, beaming on me and the locker. I had the beautiful note in one hand, and a faded pink rose in the other. The rose was beautiful; different shades of pinks, slightly lighter than each one, and the petals were seperated neatly, causing my heart to melt. I felt so loved. Re-reading the note again, my heart melted into mush.

"Dear my beautiful Krissy,

I love you with all my heart. It skips a beat when I see you stare back at me,
and when you smile that beautiful smile of yours, with your cute dimples
showing. You're so insecure, but you have no reason to be. Everyone
else thinks you're stunning, and you are.

Love from, your secret admirer xxx

I turned my head, the bones in my neck stiffing, and I watched all the people walk past me, gossiping and smiling with their lipgloss smiles on their make-up faces. I never wore make-up, I never personally found the need to, and I was never able to apply it.

All the couples were holding hands, kissing each others cheeks and having their moment, when they look into each others eyes and they fall in love. I always envied them, as I was forever alone, no first kiss, no true love, only heartbreaks and bitter tears from my puffy eyes.

Until now.

This is the prologue for my first story in The Blood Rose series. There will be over three books, not sure how many yet. Sorry, not notifying anyone! Please leave feedback, and follow if you want more ;3
