here was once a tiny flower. She hadn't grown yet, and didn't know if she ever would. In her world, there were two suns. One was brighter, one was duller. But the dull one always exposed itself, not disappointed it was duller. And the bright always hid, away, scared of what might happen. The flower didn't know what to do with them. She enjoyed the company of the dull one, but it didn't seem like simply enough light...

he was new at the whole game. They'd thrown her in to the arena, a newbie. She searched with her eyes, and noticed he was there. One of the little lions who she had played with when they were younger. She could see then he was the only one who could save her. But what could she do? The other trained, familiar cats were closing in on her, and he hadn't saved her yet.
