Witty needs help.

i'm not sure how many of you remember how this website was before mid-2012, but there were so many more people on here. the top quotes of the day could have up to 6,000 faves, and they were great quotes. now they barely get 150.

i love Witty, i really do. and i think part of the problem is that most/all of the things people post are from tumblr.

tumblr is great. i have a tumblr (as do the majority of people on Witty) and i love it just as much as witty, but they. are. different. websites. people are feeling like all they see on Witty is text posts they've already seen on tumblr.

i can't make any of you do anything, so feel free to ignore this advice and continue doing what you do, but Witty is swiftly going down the drain.

but if you see a text post you like on tumblr, like or reblog it on tumblr, but don't post it on Witty.

if you see a quote that you know is from tumblr, maybe favourite a different - original - quote instead.

try posting quotes that are not from tumblr. funny stuff that happened to you, something a friend said, a quote from a book or a movie or a celebrity or a song. make a goal of posting one non-tumblr quote a day.

So last night...
We had this thing called teen night, and my friend Morgan, she was there. Now let me tell you about Morgan, she cuts herself, all because of bullies and this one d!ck named Toryn. Morgan is in love with Toryn, but he bullies her. Toryn moved away last year, but last night he was back, and he is going to go to our school. Morgan went to go give Toryn a hug, because she mad missed him. Toryn began to tell her to knock it off. He then continued to make fun of her. Morgan then lifted her sleeves, and said "You are the reason I do this". Toryn then said " You are an idiot for doing that" And began to laugh with his friends. Morgan started crying and didn't stop. She went into the bathroom, and I followed her. She went into the stall and I waited for her by the sink. She came out, and put her earrings back on. I looked at her wrists, but saw nothing, so we left the bathroom after she fixed her makeup. 

After a while, Toryn started making fun of her again. She started crying, and said that she wanted to kill herself. She said that she was planning her death. I pulled her away from the crowed of people, into this secret little area, and gave her the biggest hug I have ever given anyone. "You are better than this, Morgan, you are beautiful, and funny, and amazing. Don't let him get to you" I said, as she began crying. Then, this boy, Noah, walked by and threw a water bottle at us. I threw it back harder.
