Chapter3; Reunions

" I have a surprise for you." Justin said as he cupped his hands over my eyes.
" Do I get a hint to what it is?" I asked him as we walked forward.
"No." he whispered.
" Well that's no fair!" I laughed.
He released his hands off of my eyes & my eyes began to water.
" Hey sweetie." I ran towards him, & he through his Navy Seal hat to the ground & caught me in his arms.
" I missed you Dad. So much."
" I missed you too." I squeezed him with all my energy.
" Happy 5 month anniversary." Justin said form the farside of the room. I looked at him & smiled.
" When did you get back?" I asked my Dad as I finally pulled away form the hug.
" Just a few hours ago, your mother let Justin contact me to plan this." I went over to hug Justin.
" Thank you. So much!" I whispered into his ear, & I kissed his cheek.
I finally got to look around & noticed there were three chairs at a little set-up table, pizza, & Orange soda. I smiled. My favorites.
"You know , I have a gift for you too. You're Mom has it."
"Good." I laughed & sat in my chair.
We sat & talked, eating our pizza.
" So, what are your plans Justin, do you want to keep making music, or decide to go to college..?"
" I love music, it's what I want to perform & make music for the rest of my life, I wont stop until I actually can't walk anymore." My Dad laughed.
"Well wouldn't that be hard to maintain, when you have a family, I know it is certainly hard for me, being away for so long."
" I would think they would come with me. "Justin looked at me then, with wondering eyes.
"Hmm.." my Dad whispered, & sat back in his chair.
" Are you staying at the house with us, or are you staying at Cardinal Andrew's house again?" I asked him, trying to change the subject.
" I'll be home Megan, " he reassured me. He kept his eyes on Justin.
" The pizza's really good." I said, once again, trying to spark another conversation. " Where'd you get it from?"
" A place down the street."
" Oh."
We left shortly after that.
"I'll see you at home." I whispered to my Dad, as I pulled away from our goodbye hug.
" Have her home by 11:30." My Dad said to Justin. He nodded.
" Yes sir."
