Well hello there lovely! :) The name's Carly, and I'm a total California baby. Haha! ♥ My family and friends don't know that I write cheesy romance stories- and I don't think I'll ever tell them. I try to upload a new chapter at least 4 times every week- it's very rare that I don't! ;L I've always been scared of what other people think of me and I like to keep my Witty life secret.....^-^ I'm 13, and I love singing and writing; they're my whole life. Music is my escape. ♥ Sometimes I feel like I'm never good enough, and I'm super hardworking at everything I do (Lol xD). Perfectionist is the word........Anyway, fave, follow, and comment! Goodbye, and see you at the next Walrus Fanclub Meeting! :D

Summer

Chapter 6

I strolled out of Cole's smooth red Ferrari, staring at the air around us.
The whole place smelt like candyfloss and toffee-flavoured popcorn, and huge mascots everywhere were greeting kids and putting on shows.
"Wow," I gasped, rolling my eyes sarcastically, "Fantasyland is so not cheesy!"
"Oh, you're just sour because Mr. Nutty the Squirrel's so much more sexier than you." Cole teased, ruffling my hair.
"Shut up." I smirked, "Let's go into the Fairies' Flower Field!"
"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-" Cole whined, as I clamped his mouth shut with my palm.
Something warm and wet touched my hand and I retreated alarmingly fast.
"You licked me, you son of a........squirrel..." I screamed, as a strict-looking patrol officer walked past.
Thankfully, she was too busy barking into a walkie-talkie to notice.
"Squirrel? Really?" Cole mused, as my cheeks warmed slightly. "I couldn't help it- you looked soooo delicious!"
I felt my face burning scarlet before exclaiming, "You cannibal!" Then, adding a melodramatic sigh, "I suppose you're just jealous of my body. Well, it can't be helped!"
"Yup, jealous of your fat, that is. Let's go!" Cole joked, grabbing my hand.
We went on the Super Soaker first, which was really a bad mistake.
Still, it was pretty fun to see Cole shriek like a girl most of the way down the dip, even though I was still bitter about my soaking wet denim shorts and pink Hollister hoodie.
Then it was the Alien Saucer which spun around at an annoyingly fast speed.
I swore I nearly saw Cole's eyes pop right out of his head. "That gave me a headache!" I moaned, still trying to squeeze the last of the cold water off my drenched sleeve.
"Awright, we should probably eat some ice cream- the safe option." Cole grinned, as we walked over to a Ben and Jerry's Ice cream Stand.
"How may I help the lovely couple?" the woman asked, taking out a spoon.
"Could I have an Extra Chunky Double Chocolate Chip Toffee Fudge Monster with whipped cream?" we both said at the same time.
The lady gave an amused chuckle before taking out a huge silver ice cream scooper.
"Here you go!" she grinned, as my eyes widened in surprise.
"But this is just one enormous ice cream!" I protested.
"For a cute couple like you." the woman smiled cheerily, "Don't tell the manager but I'll give you $3 off just because you two are such a lovey-dovey pair!"
Cole flashed his dazzling moviestar smile as he took out one spoon.
"Where's mine?" I asked, my mouth full of coke.
"There's only one spoon." Cole winked, and I nearly choked on my drink.
"Y-You mean we have to s-share the spoon?!" I coughed, "B-but that's s-so unhygenic!"
"Unless you want a bite, you have to use the spoon." Cole teased.
"Fine, but I want the first bi-" I began, but Cole has already prised open his jaws and stuffed it into his mouth.
"Wont shum?" he questioned.
I groaned, but took a cautious lick and soon fell in love with the ice cream, not even caring if Cole's germs had been slobbered all over it.
We walked hand in hand, into a photo booth.
"Let's do it!" Cole grinned at once.
I shook my head. "I look terrible in photos! You know that!" I moaned.
"Come on, Alex! You look gorgeous just the way you are." he pleaded.
I flushed and he leaded me into the little room with a velvet pull curtain, as the camera flashed multiple times.
First there was both of us looking like detectives, and then the next time I was trying to punch Cole. The third photo was one with him wearing my vintage ELLE sunglasses and me trying to steal his sneakers. Lots more followed, each one stupider than the last.
Finally, he pulled me in for a sweet, sticky kiss on the lips.
"You taste like
Extra Chunky Double Chocolate Chip Toffee Fudge Monster with whipped cream." I smirked, before pressing his lips to mine again.

Chapter 5

I hopped into the seat and Cole soon began driving.
"You glad that we're going to get back to California?" Cole questioned, pecking my cheek with his soft lips.
I shivered and rubbed the exact spot where he had kissed me.
"What? Oh, uh, yeah....!" I stuttered, not really knowing what he said.
"Well, aren't you acting especially adorable today." he smirked.
"Shut up, idiot!" I yelled, shrinking down into my seat so Cole wouldn't see me blushing.
My light blonde hair flew in the wind as I whooped, waving my hands in the air crazily.
Cole gave me an amused grin before setting his eyes on the road.
After thirteen LMFAO songs with Cole's awful screeching, 2 hours of driving in the middle of nowhere and lots of shouting, we arrived at the beach.
The warmth of the sun and the crystal clear turquoise waves gliding in from the shore made me feel at home, as I put my feet down on the soft, white sand.
"There's going to be fireworks tonight." he grinned.
I smiled back, wrapping my arms around his neck as he brushed his lips against mine.
The light breeze blew in my hair, slightly fluttering my new white sundress.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's play a game." Cole suggested, grabbing my hand.
I raised an eyebrow. "Like what?"
"Try and catch me, S-U-C-K-A!" Cole yelled, sprinting away as he stuck his tounge out at me like a five year old.
I laughed, running after him as I let the sun shine down for all its worth.

"Got you!" I gasped, catching my breath back as Cole tackled me to the ground.
"Not yet you don't!" he teased, pinning me down.
I stopped screaming and my face flushed crimson, realising the awkward position we were in.
Cole's on top of me, I thought.
I breathed in his familiarly faint axe scent; the one I loved so much.
"You smell good...." I mumbled, as both of us collapsed on the floor and I snuggled into his huge body.
"And you smell like pancakes...." Cole murmured, as I playfully smacked him on the arm.
I brushed the sand of my gorgeous, simple white sundress and pulled my straw hat on, along with the coolest pair of shades in history.
I kicked a little pebble as we both got up, hands tightly entwined with eachother's.
It soon got dark, and we both stood on the pier, gazing into the night sky.
An explosion of colorful fireworks banged in the sky before us, staring at a huge bonfire that was flaming with a mixture of fiery shades, reminding me of the camping trip.
A shimmering golden rocket out of control whizzed past me, missing my face by inches.
I stepped back in surprise as Cole caught me in his warm arms, smiling faintly.
"Sorry, man!" a random guy shouted from down below, as I blushed in delightment.
My heart thumped loudly, as we stood there, with Cole's arms still firmly clamped on my shoulders.
Another sparkling pink Catherine Wheel hit the air as I closed my eyes, not believing this miraculous dream.
I looked up at Cole, and kissed him deeply, and for a single moment the only think I could feel was the rush of his sweet, sweet lips.
We pulled away after what seemed like a century, both still enjoying the taste of the delicious kiss.
"Alex?" Cole questioned, looking into my eyes.
"Yes?" I stared right back into his twinkling emerald green ones.
"I love you." he declared, pulling me in for another breath-taking kiss as our lips clung onto eachother like heaven and a shimmering sparkler burst in the blur of the moment.

Summer

Chapter 4

"Woah, it's hot out." Cole declared, staring across at the shimmering blue lake.
Cole dove into the lake, swinging like a pro on the piece of rope as he flung his shirt off midway.
He looked so hot shirtless- especially since he was so muscular.
"Jump in!" Cole yelled, swimming a few laps as he drenched himself from head to toe.
It looks like he was sparkling or something now, and weirdly enough I found myself blushing.
"No way!" I called, half grinning, "This t-shirt is new."
Cole raised an eyebrow. "Spiderman? Nice going."
I rolled my eyes. "Still not going in."
"Fine, fine. Look, I can spot a turtle down there!" He beckoned, asking me to lean closer.
I was still slightly suspicious, since Cole barely ever gave up this easily, but still leant over and stared into the water.
"What?" I began, "I don't see any- ARGHHHH!"
Cole grabbed my hand and pulled me into the water, watching me stare closely at the surface.
I splashed and spluttered, trying to get out of Cole's amazingly strong grip.
"Help! Cole! Cole! I lost my earring!" I said worriedly, and he let me go instantly.
"Where is it?" he asked anxiously.
I pointed to a clump of rocks down below, and Cole swam quickly to the  exact spot.
"Where is it-" I dunked his head under the bubbly, clean water for about 20 seconds, until I finally let him go. "That's what you get for getting me wet!" I cried, half-laughing.
"Oh, really?" Cole smirked, grabbing me and locking his lips with mine.
It was so passionate, my arms went limp as he sucked my bottom lip gently.
I deepened the kiss, and could feel Cole grinning against my lips.
He gently kiss me on the forehead before dragging me underwater.
I interwined my fingers with Cole's as he ran his fingers through my wet hair.
"I love you." I whispered, smiling slightly.
"Love you too, Alex."
Our lips connected beautifully, as the sun shone brightly on the lake's surface, the breeze creating ripples......
The sun set soon, and when we had gotten ourselves dried off Cole started on the fire.
He constantly rubbed two sticks of wood together, but it didn't work.
"Damn fire!" he muttered, throwing his hands up in defeat.
I smiled teasingly, lighting a match and throwing it on the stack of logs as they burst into fire.
"Or you could do that." Cole chuckled. "Marshmallow?"
I nodded eagerly, and he handed me a stick with a few fluffy marshmallows speared on top.
"It'd be better with chocolate dip, though!" I exclaimed, taking a bite out of Cole's stick.
"Picky Alex." he smirked, taking out a bowl full of delicious-smelling chocolate dip. "Thank god I know what you're like."
I roasted my marshmallows carefully, munching on the particularly chocolate-y parts.
"Wow, I forgot how good they tasted!" I breathed, staring up at the shimmering stars in the midnight blue sky.
The fire crackled merrily, a deep hue of crimsons, cantaloupes and golds.
"Remember when I used to carry you to sleep every night?" Cole laughed, his twinkling emerald green eyes matching the stars.
"Yeah....." I smiled faintly, resting my head on his warm shoulders.
"Come on." Cole called, "I wanna show you something."
I got up, my hand wrapped tightly round his.
Soon, we stopped and a faint little flicker of gold lit up in the black sky.
I gasped. "Fire.....flies?"
More and more gathered around us, flying in and out as they glowed gorgeously like a thousand sparkling lights.
"You know what?" I said, looking up at Cole seriously, "There isn't anyone else in the world who I would want to be with right now."

Summer

Chapter 3

The breeze blew in from some unknown crack in the floorboards as a few specks of light began to fill the room, and I found myself sleeping inside Cole's warm arms.
I blushed at remembering last night as Cole stirred slightly.
"Mornin', sunshine." he smiled, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and giving me a small peck on the cheek.
A sharp click sounded in the air and the emergency exit door opened.
"Well, time to open up the- HOLY MOLY MACARONI!" the old man yelped in surprise, dropping his keys.
"Um, we kinda got trapped here after yesterday- did you lock the door? The cellphone connection was down and so we had to spend the night here...Sorry." I explained.
"You stayed here all night? Dang....Come on, you kids should get out before the manager fires me!" the caretaker said, showing us the way out.
"I suppose you kids were fine, especially with you two being so lovey-dovey!" he winked, before strolling back into the haunted house.
I bit the inside of my cheeks as I saw Cole go red, convincing myself that he was not blushing.
"What's next?" I asked, glancing over Cole's shoulder to look at his list.
"Camping in the woods near Brockwood lake." Cole grinned, taking my hand.
"When do we go?" I questioned.
"As soon as we can."

"You ready?" Cole asked, helping me with my insanely heavy Batman rucksack.
"Geez, what've you got in here?"
"Stuff." I muttered, staring at Cole.
How could he be so damn perfect without even trying?
His shaggy blonde hair and striking emerald green eyes made my heart race everytime- especially since I was his girlfriend now....or something like that.
"Let's go, gorgeous." he smiled, wiping a crumb of toast off my chin with a wet thumb.
It sent sparks exploding in my heart as I still felt the lingering touch of his gentle fingertips.
Cole started up his Ferrari as the wind flew in our faces and my hair went flying into the sky. "WHEEEEEEEEE!" I whooped, like a little child, as Cole flashed an amused smile.
"Cherry or Lemon?" he asked, producing two lollipops from his pocket.
"Cherry! Duh!" I laughed, as I leaned over and locked lips for a while.
"You do know I licked that one, right?" Cole smirked, easing the plastic wrapper off his.
"Ewwww! Have it back!" I squealed, throwing it in his face as I flushed red.
"Just kidding," Cole said teasingly, "Although it was really cute to see you all flustered."
"Shut up!" I cried, trying not to turn beetroot red.
He twiddle my light blonde lock around his finger for a while, like he usually did.
It was an uncontrollable habit of his, and Cole said I should never cut my hair short, because it looked beautiful long.
I remembered 7th grade when Cole mentioned that.
Finally, we pulled at a stop to look at an amazing forest covered with huge green trees and a wide, crystal clear lake with a piece of rope hanging off a random tree branch.
"We're here- remember that night we promised eachother that if we were 40 and single as pringles that we would marry eachother?" Cole smiled, reminscing at memories.
"Yeah," I giggled, "That was also the day you lost the arm-wrestling bet and I made you give my Barbie dolls makeovers for the whole day!"
"Psh! That was only because I had sprained my arm that day...." he lied badly.
"Seems like a long time since we came here!" I beamed, climbing on top of Cole's back.
"Let's make today better than that time, then." he grinned, pressing his tender lips against my forehead.

Chapter 2

"Come on, Alex!" Cole pleaded, grabbing my arm and jerking me back.
"OH NO, I-I'm not going into tha-that pig.....fart!" I refused, standing my ground.
Cole smirked at me with an amused smile. "Pig fart? It's just a haunted house, Alex. Look, even that little girl is going in!"
I bit my lower lip nervously.
"Face your fears! I thought it was you and me against the world...." Cole smiled gently, taking my hand and wrapping his big fingers around mine.
"Fine." I mumbled, "But you're buying me a lollipop after this."
Cole brushed his lips against my cheek softly, and I noticed the butterflies that fluttered in my tummy.
"Anything you want, princess."
As soon as we reached the entrance, a skeleton popped up right in front of me, knocking me backwards. I screamed. "OK, I'VE FACED MY FEARS, NUMBER 2 OF THE BUCKET LIST IS DONE, LET'S GO!"
Cole took my hand and held me inside his arms- thank god he didn't see me blushing because the lights has been turned off and the whole room was pitch black.
My heart thudded inside my chest erractically- all because of Cole.
"It's fine." he muttered into my ear, "Take my hand."
I clenched onto his hand like my life depended on it.
"I didn't mean make me get surgery!" he winced, ruffling my hair.
"Since when did you get so buff?" I asked, running my fingers up and down his arm.
"Ewww, stop, paedo!" Cole laughed, as a scream pierced the air and some creepy cut up doll sprang up from the creaking floorboards.
"Cole!" I yelped, trying to find him.
He wasn't anywhere to be found.
"This is isn't funny....." I muttered, tears springing to my eyes.
"BOO!" an all-too-familiar voice screeched, and I jumped.
"Hell! You stupid b*stard!" I shouted. "I'm going home."
"Wait, Alex! It was only a joke!" Cole protested.
I strode over to the door, and turned the grimy door handle.
It was locked.
"Cole?" I whispered, trying to find him in the darkness.
"I'm here. What's the matter?" he asked, as we sat on the floor and let me rest my head on his lap till I calmed down.
"I-I think we may be trapped here."
He tried smashing the door open but it didn't work- we were confined till the next morning.
I was trembling all over, and wanted Cole to hold me in his arms.
It was like he had read my mind, and I threw my arms around him as he held me for what seemed like a blissful century.
"We'll get out of here, Alex. I promise; just keep close to me." he reassured, tilting my head up a little so that his eyes met mine.
Cole leant in for a kiss and he did it beautifully- the kiss was just perfect.
Passionate, loving, gentle, enchanting and romantic. Just how I liked it.
It was like my lips had a mind of their own and I deepened the kiss, my knees went weak at his touch.
Cole tried to pulled up my shirt but I smacked his hand away punching him lightly.
"Perv!" I squealed, rolling onto him so that he was pinned down.
"Well, aren't you cute. Blushing over a little thing like that!" Cole chuckled, twirling my hair round his finger.
"Shut up- it's your fault we're stuck here!" I pouted, trying to hold him down as he squirmed like a little girl.
"Sorry, beautiful. Maybe it's just because I love being alone with you." he smiled in the darkness, as our lips connected lightly.

Summer

Chapter 1

"So, summer vacation, huh?" Cole grinned, ruffling my hair. "Get into the car, kid."
"Ugh, Cole, don't call me that. We're only 3 months apart, anyway!" I moaned, settling myself onto the familiar front seat of his shiny red Ferrari.
"Hey! You got knew seats!" I noticed, stroking the furry leopard material.
"OHMIGOD, you're right!" Cole laughed sarcastically, starting the engine.
Cole.
My best friend since I was 3.
"Where to, Alex?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. "The beach?"
I shrugged. "Like I care."
He rolled his eyes and began driving down the road. "Well, guess who's period it is." Cole muttered, clearly annoyed at the fact that I wasn't talking properly.
"Alright, alright." I said, forcing a huge grin on my face as I stretched my mouth upwards. "Smiling, see?"
"Better." Cole smirked.
We parked on a deserted beach, the smooth white sand sinking in betweem my toes.
The sun had just risen, setting the mood.
Tinges of sunset orange, salmon pink and lemon yellow filled the sky lika huge painting.
Cole put his arm round as we sat down and munched on yummy poptarts.
"The beach is empty, huh?" he pointed out, staring at the frothy turquoise waves.
"No sh*t, sherlock." I chuckled, snuggling into his chest.
I smelt the faint scent of axe as I nuzzled into his body and he braided my hair.
After a while, I got bored and started flicking pieces or sand everywhere.
One landed right on Cole's nose, and I couldn't help but snigger at his dumbstruck face.
He soon had a mischeivous smile on his face and the glint in his eye that always showed that he was up to no good.
"Oh that's it, Alex." Cole smirked, scooping up a handful of water and throwing it right at my face.
"You idiot!" I screamed, pelting him with a mouldy banana from the picnic basket.
Cole football-tackled me to the ground and started ticking my neck.
I squealed in extreme laughter- that was my ultimate weak spot.
"I've been your best friend for 13 years, buddy!" he shouted through my protests, "Don't think I haven't done my research."
Before we knew it, it was like we were 7 again, building forts and throwing random objects in eachothers' faces.
Soon, Cole got bored and dragged me onto the rug again.
"Hey Alex, hey
Alex, hey Alex, hey Alex, hey Alex, hey Alex, hey Alex, hey Alex, hey Alex, hey-"
"What?!" I interrupted, smacking my palm in his face.
"Do you love me?" Cole asked, with an extremely serious face- his emerald green eyes froze me everytime.
"Of course I do, doofus!" I laughed.
Cole didn't even hesitate as he grabbed me near him and gently pressed his soft lips- against mine.
The kiss was warm and sweet.
"W-what was that for....?" I asked, astounded. Sure, me and Cole had kissed plenty of times, but never this meaningfully.
"I love you, Alex." he said quietly, with a whole new glow around him.
"I love you too." I whispered, and then he pulled me in for a long, long, long hug.
When we finally broke free, he rummaged in his pockets and pulled out a scrunched-up piece of paper.
"It's summer," he announced in an incredibly dramatic voice. "And in my hand is a bucket list."
"Wow..." I said, in a totally flat voice.
"We have exactly two months to complete all 20 things that I have planned for us," Cole grinned, "And kissing you was the first. It starts now."
