Hello.
My name is Abigail, I'm a 19 year old girl who is trying to figure life out. I am currently going to college to study english and psychology. I have an amazing boyfriend who, as cliche as it souds, I love more than anything. I love poetry, Ron Pope, and Ellen Hopkins. I spent my entire high school career with my nose in a book; in my opinion, nothing is better than a mug of hot chocolate and good book on a rainy day.

Aww thank you(: haha I love poetry! I love writing in general, but something about poetry I just really enjoy. I kept my poems to myself for years and just lately have beginning to share it with people. Really? I want to do that but I can never finish a story I start haha I get bored and move on to a new idea :P I want to brome a psychologist and help troubled teens, like those that suffer from eating disorders and depression, self harm, all that kind of stuff. Thank you! Good luck to you too(:

You are welcome!! Yea, poetry is beautiful! It's good to show others, I just hate when they take it and claim it though. XD I get bored of my books sometimes, so I just switch off and on from each book with new ideas. It's a lot harder this way because you forget which is about what. But I like to read through my book before writing more. That's great! It's nice to know people care sometimes :)

I'm sorry, that was a horrible thing for her to do. Some kids do, I personally would still be a super sheltered kid if I hadn't found Witty and started actually looking at the world around me. But I will agree that kids at private school aren't as exposed to this as kids from public. I'd talk to her, even if you have to be careful having someone to talk to is better than no one.
Same here! Haha i know one day i'll be loving when someone says what? No you can't be that old! but right now people thinking I'm older than I am is really kind of nice lol this summer I went on a trip with my grandma and at one of the restaurants the waiter left me my wine glass and asked what I would be drinking that evening.. the look on his face when I said chocolate milk was priceless lol

Yeah someone is better than no one and the only reason I have to be careful is because there are 3 categories that if I tell her is going on in my life, she has to tell someone. Those are her rules, the schools rules that three topics can't stay just between me and her.
Yeah I'm really glad I found witty too! It helps a lot.
Hahaha I guess no body likes their age. Hahahahahahaha I literally laughed when reading that story. My sister, you might know her, she's doublesidedice ....yeah her, was in 8th grade when we were at a restaurant and the waiter asked where she went to college.

It would be, but it's not true. One day on the bus I asked the girl's little sister how her cousin Blaire was doing and she was like i don't have a cousin named blaire... things got awkward really fast haha.
I'm sorry you're going through a rough time and that the person you were confiding in stopped wanting to help you ): hahaha trust me, its the same at public school. Kids still think the world revolves around whose good at what sport and how many friends you have, but its still hard to deal with when no one else understands. Its a great thing that you went and talked to a counselor! I actually talk to my school psychologist once a week so I totally understand! I'd keep going to talk to her, especially since you seem to like her. She won't judge you and she'll listen(sometimes I think talking and saying things out loud just instantly makes things better) and if you need she will give you an adult perspective to view things.
I was actually, but I don't know why. I'm HORRIBLE with guessing people's ages but I definitely thought you were older than seventh grade, maybe eighth or ninth? I don't know :P
Btw if you ever need someone to talk to about what you're going through you can talk to me about it, I've been helping one of my good friends for over a year now and even though I may not always have an answer, I'll be here if you need someone to talk to

Ohh.....that's, wow, who would make something up like that?! Thanks, that means a lot, to know someone cares. Like I was just talking to my friend about it and she technically interrupted me and was like "just stop talking to me about this stuff, ok? I'm sorry but I can't put up with your problems!" I just acted like it was cool and went to the bathroom and cried. Ugh I hate crying at school. Yeah I know it's that way at public school but at public school they know about reality, they know and experience the problems that happen in reality (I use that word a lot, sorry). Here at my school, they don't know. They are so sheltered from reality and all the problems and they have no idea what goes on outside the walls of the school. My counselor is awesome and really nice but I have to be careful of what I tell her. I know that stuff happens at public school but I also know they are actually exposed to reality and the things that happen outside their school. They know about the problems that their classmates go through even if they don't know which ones. I like talking to my counselor. She's nice and funny and really a great person. She likes the fact that I can talk to her because she wants reality problems to help. At my school, the problems she gets is "she called me a jerk" or "I can't get my back handspring" she used to get problems where the student didn't even know who they were....ya' know?
Haha I love it when people tell me I look older than I am. I don't know why. That picture looks like me but then it doesn't. Like I showed it to a lot of people and all they kept asking was "is that you?!" Well yes.....it is...
And thanks that will probably come in handy but I don't like to publicly state all my problems (via Witty and such) so yeah but thanks. It goes for you as well, I might be in seventh grade but trust me, I know A LOT more than you think I would. Not including the fact that most of my friend are either in high school and or college. Yes I have older friends....I knowing know but they just understand me and vice versa. So yeah u got like any other communication systems (FaNcY haha)?

Seventh grade? haha don't worry then. People change sooo much from seventh to ninth grade and then even more throughout high school. Seriously, if you could only see the changes I have made, and the way the people I used to call friends changed... it'd blow your mind! So she'll change, she'll grow up and realize how she acts isn't really cute or funny and that people really don't like it. Cause it has to annoy more people than just you. She might be insecure, and she tries to hide it by seeming overly confident with her body. I know right now this seems like the biggest thing in the world but one day you'll look back on this and be like wow, I spent my nights freaking over that and just kind of laugh at yourself.
For example, one of my best friends now used to lie CONSTANTLY about her life. I mean, she had a cousin who had 6 kids at age 16, was and pregnant with twins. My friend was hiding them in her basement and so they were living there, the cousin had a miscarriage and lost one of the twins and after the other one was born gave it to her 17 year old brother to take care of and moved to Maine(I would like to take a moment to take that in... She gave a new born baby to a 17 year old boy... cause she could trust him to raise her child right.... the drug addicted brother.... yeeaahhh...). My friend even lied about having cancer until I pointed out that it was incurable and then suddenly it was some other disease she had and not cancer that would kill her by the end of the school year. This girl has grown up and changed and now I love hanging out and talking to her but i used to constantly get annoyed with how she was acting and lying all the time.
Killing people with kindness is always good, and if they don't like you it can annoy them which is always a plus. I know i'm going to go all old person on you but you're in middle school, things will change, and people will change a million times before you graduate. It's going to be super annoying still, but try not to let it completely ruin your year

Hey, I read you're really long quote about the girl from school who's a conceited haha I don't know if I'll be of any help but I'm willing to help.

First, if I combine two people in my life I get a person who is close to who you are talking about... having someone like that though actually at my school is a scary thought. One girl we will call Kristen and the other girl Carrie.
So Kristen used to treat me like crap, and I used to consider her one of my best friends even though she was a horrible friend. Now I know this isn't like you're situation but I'm getting there. One day I decided I was done with it and I stopped being her friend, well lets fast forward a year to now after a huge blow out fight. She's still the she always was, but now I just ignore her. She still eats with me at lunch due to mutual friends but I seriously just ignore her. My best friend knows I can't stand her and she gets annoyed with her too. I don't know if there is a friend you completely trust to confide in but that's helped me a ton! Also, seriously just ignore her. Realize she's not going far in life and you don't need to waste your time worrying about someone like that. I know thats SUPER hard to do but really try, it will make things a million times better. Once you no longer care you just feel better.

Now to deal with the conceited part. Carrie is actually a lot like the girl you named only she's younger than me so I don't have to deal with her all day. Carrie is obsessed with how she looks, dresses like a that shows off her fat(she works out everyday and is fatter than me, and I work out only occasionally so I don't get why she thinks she's all that better than me, maybe because I don't try to dress up and impress--my profile picture should definitely show this haha) People like that are sooo annoying. I am very passionate about helping people, especially people with like depression and eating disorders and who struggle with self harm and she thinks its weird and the faces she makes at my projects... ugh I could just punch her. But same thing, you have to realize she's not worth it. Now cause I'm a senior and she's a sophomore I will give her dirty looks and make rude remarks about how people need to stop dressing like in our school and pull their skirts down in front of her. You probably don't really want to do that though. If you want to make comments but be more sneaky about it maybe 'innocently' mention next time she brings up how creepy it is that someone complimented her twice in a row like how you get compliments and you don't find it creepy, they're just being nice. or how its weirder to have guys stare at you all the time(cause that really is weird and creepy and you just feel weird and ugh... yeah thats creepy lol)

Honestly people like her don't deserve your time or effort. My boyfriend would go as far to say they don't deserve your emotions because why waste them on people you don't like... I though understand hating someone cause they are a haha i don't know I probably didn't help. but if you ever need to vent you can always talk to me since i can totally relate with quite a few people. Good luck!(:

I try to ignore her, it kinda fails so I try to kill her with kindness. I'm confronting her about everything today, well I did, it was so obvious she was guilty, and as usual, SHE TRIED TO FRICKING DENY IT. Ugh I could just punch her too. As for the guys staring, I don't mind as long as they don't get disrespectful. Today is another out-of-uniform day and again, they got dem eyes der. Hahaha I'm sorry about your problem, at least this is your last year, I'm in seventh grade xc. She's out-of-uniform and is trying to flaunt what she really doesn't have. Ugh she needs to just stop.

I get that haha I have no idea what FaNcY is but the only other thing I have is kik but I'm not one of those crazy kik girls, I just mainly use it to talk to my boyfriend :P

I have kik too! Hehe I don't use it as much as I used to but....wanna kik?

yeah my school's like that too, but we have this agreement between me and the person I talk to that if I say it as "if I have a friend who..." then she will tell me what my 'friend' should do and we'll talk about it but she doesn't have to turn it in, which is nice.
Really?? I would have never guessed you guys were siblings lol and sure! my username is acfellin, it should have a picture of me like sitting in a chair in a pink shirt and people tell me I look old in it but oh well :P
