Love In Jail
chapter
three
That night was the worst night I
had ever seen in prison. My life was going into a downward
spiral. My head throbbed, I found out that my friend was pressing
charges. She hadn't yet. Three years later and she decides to
now. She knew I couldn't come up with the money, she wanted
me in her until the prison rotted on top of me. I didn't go
to any of the meals that day and didn't bother to go
outside.
"Alyssa, what's up with you tonight, girl?" my
cellmate asked.
She was a tall, brunette haired girl. She was super nice. The
reason she was here in this hellhole too? She robbed a
convenience store because her friends said if she didn't they
would tell the whole world she hooked up with Brice
O'Connors. Brice was the nerdy kid in her school and she did
not want to be known as the bad girl who has a heart for the good
guy. Ahh, it seems I forgot to tell her name. Kayla
Stevenson.
"It's nothing much. Just some charges I won't be
able to handle."
"Girl, I'm gonna do everything in my power to help you
out."
"Thanks Kayla" I smiled
I went to bed early that night, even though it was hard to
sleep.
"ALL GIRLS TO THE CAFETERIA NOW!" The prison warden
yelled over the intercom.
I quickly brushed my tangeled hair and all the girls in my
cellblock were marched to the cafeteria.
"well, well, well, looks like you guys have a
"fun" day today. Eat your breakfast and get on the
busses. It's community service day girls!" The warden
walked away with a flip of her hair. She was young. A blonde
woman with double d's and the perfect figure. All the male
prison gaurds drooled over her. Rumor had it that some gaurds got
lucky once in a while.
Me and Kayla quickly got our breakfast and piled onto the bus.
Our task today was to clean up the schools since it was summer
break. We arrived at the school and walked inside. The air
smelled of peanut butter and jellys and bubblegum. I walked to a
wall and saw a picture hanging loosly by one staple. It was by
Maddie Hawkins, my daughter. Her preschool class was doing
drawings of what was important most, judging by the wall. I
looked at her drawing. It was me. It was a person with a orange
outfit on next to the person was the word.
Mommy. A tear rolled down my cheek as I
quietly stuffed the picture in my pocket. I started my
work so desperately wishing I was with Tyler.
Tyler's POV
God I wish Alyssa was here today. Her unit was sent
for community service. I think i'm falling for her. She
is perfect. Her brown hair falls perfectly on her shoulders and
her piercing green eyes make my world spin everytime I look into
them. Could I really be falling for someone within a day of
meeting them. I didn't see her at all yesterday. I hope
she's ok. I think I love her.
I hope you guys are enjoying it! Comments/ suggestions are
