I grew up in a house
where...
School was everything.
Where your
grades decide your future.
Where emotional days were non-existent. And homework and studying was
not optional. Where a classroom was meant for learning
trig, history lessons and physics labs.
But I have learned
that...
Life lessons are more
important than math lessons... any
day. That
one days break to regroup and recover is better than a week off
because you pushed yourself too
hard. And
relationships made within a classroom are more important
than any chemistry report or art project.
But more
than anything, I have learned that stress causes depression. And all of the pressure left me stressed
& it wore me down, emotionally and physically.
School is not everything. Yes, grades are important, but
being happy with yourself should be your
number one
goal.
