Bethany likes Max.
But Max doesn't like Bethany, he likes Stella.
However, Stella doesn't like Max, she likes his identical twin brother, Brad.
Brad likes Stella's best friend, though, Julia.
Julia, obviously, doesn't like Brad, she likes Brad's science lab partner, Jacob.
Jacob doesn't like Julia, but the the girl Julia hates; Maggie.
And Maggie, she likes Jacob's soccer team captain, Aiden.
and of course, Aiden likes Maggie's cousin Bethany.
That's just the way it is in Middle School.

putting you down, and they expect you to do the same. It's the

only see the reflection, that they don't bother to read [ between
the lines ]. that would take too much time. But here you are now,
you're given the chance to be the leader, the f o l l o w e r, the
dreamer or the sleepless. You can be the girl who believes in her-
self, because nobody has the right to put you down, unless you
g i v e t h e m t h e c h a n c e t o .
