Part 1

My Side of the Wall

The Wall divides two towns that once used to be a city. The Wall is now old and worn, but still stands proudly. Looking at it, you see the history flash before your eyes. The old city was governed by two wealthy brothers. Their main focus was war. It was, what they believed, they excelled at. However, Nicholas and Thomas did not get along too well. The aspect in Nicholas' governing was the people. Thomas, on the other hand, believed in the power of those who are wealthy. The tension between the two grew so much that Thomas plotted to kill Nicholas. The plan was formed so as to ensure that Thomas would gain control of all the city. These plans were eventually leaked and Nicholas was informed. Finally, the two brothers came to the resolution that they would divide their city. The Wall was then created. It was built fifteen feet high with a smooth surface so as to prevent foot holders. The Wall surrounded the whole city, with it also running down the center. Families were split apart and friends were never seen again. The newly founded towns were governed separately. On one side of the Wall, Krozan was formed. Nicholas ruled like all rulers, he believed, should. The people were placed above all else. To the other side was the town of Drividen. This was under the assembly of Thomas who ruled with the aspect of fear. The two brothers still fought whenever they could. It was decided that any contact between the people of the separate towns was forbidden. Anybody that was caught was ostracized and forced to live in the wilderness outside of the town. However, secret meetings were held. They discussed rebellion, although no action was taken. The group formed was called The Reformers, but they nicknamed themselves the Refs. It was a group of men that disagreed with the Wall and wished to see it crumble. The meetings still continued oblivious to the rulers. When Thomas died, his ruling was passed onto his son, who valued the same types of ruling as his father. The people of Drividen still suffered. when Nicholas died, he created a group of five men who continued his traditions of power to the people and ruled after his death. Communication between the people of Krozan and Drividen was still prohibited. This law was more enforced by the rulers of Drividen. As time passed, the Refs were able to convince both towns to hold a competition. This was eventually called the Black Hawk games. The Refs believed it would be a way for the people to see each other; but they were proves wrong. The games were to test the strength of the people, and the on-lookers were seared in stands. These stands were only on two sides of the stadium so as to keep the separation. The stadium was created outside of the city. The winner, who was able to survive all four levels, received a years supply of food. The Black Hawk games took place in the spring and were trained for by many people, although the competitors were chosen at random. Time passed, the Black Hawk games continued, contact was forbidden, and the Wall still stood tall.

Time, however, caused the Wall to crumble in one corner in the town Krozan. This was one day discovered by a little girl named Brooklynn. This is her story.

I'm almost done with Looking, But Never Really Seeing
and I have two ideas for my next story, and I was hoping

1. I fell for my boyfriend's brother.
Payton was 96% sure she was in love with her boyfriend, Trenton. And today she was set on telling him that, even if she had to say it first. But when things get a little out of hand, and Trenton's older brother, Declan, is the one that's there for her, her mind turns into a tornado. It doesn't help knowing that she will see Declan at school while Trenton goes to a Prep school...

2. Camp or Romance?
For Hayden & Arianna, it was soccer camp. But after meeting this group of guys in line for food, maybe things could turn into more of a summer romance for each of them. But will they see Liam & Darren again? Is this a one time thing? Should they even try it?

There's obviously a lot more to each story ; I didn't want to give too much away here, but I feel like I already did. On my profile, I said that another option was "i fell for my best friend's boyfriend" and that was based on my actual life, but it's kinda a touchy subject now, so I don't feel up for writing about that. I could try if you want, so I guess there's a third option..? Let me know what you guys think, thanks so much!
