So I want to write a story.
Not a realistic fiction story like
most others on witty (no offense, Sugarfreak, you are an AMAZING
author) but an action packed story. Anyways, I probably won’t
be actually posting the entire story, but this is the
prologue/chapter. It’s about a 14-year-old girl named Drew.
She’s half Asian and half White (hurraby for Happas!!!) Her
parents were killed when she was eight, and her little sister is
kidnapped by a huge corporation that is taking over the
world’s technology, and eventually, the world itself. Drew
accidentally runs into a boy her age, who just happens to be the
world’s biggest pop star, Austin White (like Justin Bieber,
but more attractive and sings better :P) together they go on a
journey to rescue Drew’s sister from the clutches of
LifeTechAll corp. and both begin to unravel their paths, and start
to realize just how dangerous and valuable their powers could be to
either side. Here’s the first chapter:
Faster, Faster.
Legs aching, heart pounding, I sprinted around yet another corner,
finding myself in a deserted alleyway. A dead end. Crap. I whirled
around, panicking, then leaped behind an old wooden crate. It
wouldn’t be long before they found me. Just like they always
did.
I had maybe half a minute before they
reached my hiding place. Looking around, I finally pulled a small
orange half-heart locket from under my shirt, opened it, and kissed
the picture of a small girl inside. Then I took a deep breath, and
leaped out from behind the crate in a fighting stance, ready to
kill something, only to find myself face to face with an old enemy.
Recovering from the shock, I crossed my arms
“Hey, Collin,” I said coolly.
“Long time no chase.” He only grinned evilly, smoothing
his unrealistically, slicked back brown hair.
“Show some respect toward the higher
intelligence, you freak,” he growled menacingly.
“Show some respect? Show some
respect? This is me you’re talking to, you overgrown
rat,” I snarled back “How about I just crack your skull
open instead? Then everyone’s happy.”
“Unfortunately, I can’t let
you do that.” He stepped aside to reveal around twenty
enormous Talons, all screeching and waiting for the cue to rip me
up into small pieces of prey.
“Wow, an escort of twenty?” I
scoffed. “Aw, I’m touched. You really think I’m
that tough?”
Collin cackled. “Well, if you
don’t think you can handle them-”
“Oh, I can. I just wanted to know if
you and your pathetic bird-brains wanted to be Kentucky Fried or
killed raw and fed to Cooper.” The huge, ripped Talons
actually cringed at Cooper’s name, which made me laugh out
loud.
“If I were you, I wouldn’t
talk back so much, freak,” Collin smiled. “We
wouldn’t want what’s happening to your beloved Sophie
to happen to you, now would we?”
I froze, shock, grief, and memories
paralyzing my entire body. I tried forcing myself to shove the
mushy feelings out of my head, but knowing they had Sophie was too
much. I let out a scream of fury, and lunged myself at Collin, with
only one clear thought: kill.
Sophie, this is for you.
Like it? Hate it? All criticisms are
welcome! Thanks for even taking the time to just read this. I
REALLY appreciate it!!! <3
