             To be completely honest, I always kinda thought he was cute... or hot. Ever since my best friend, Scarlett, started talking baout the super funny guy in her history class last year. But that was ninth grade, I really liked someone else and I didn't really talked to this him, so I never really considered liking Jonah Kolesman. Plus the fact that last year I was way to concerned with popularity status. Jonah was "popular", so in my mind- he wasn't even human. The populars were some mysterious species that I could never figure out, no matter how hard I tried. And trust me, last year, I definitely tried. Maybe a little to hard, actually.
            But my outlook on Mr. Kolesman completely changed this year- ever since the first day of our French class together...

Dont just assume everyone has it better than you.

Look around. See all those snotty sl/ts, the rich kids, the jocks, the annoying teachers, the smart kids, and the quiet shy kids?
They all have a story, a reason they are the way the are.
They all have their own lives at home that you know nothing about.

How could you know if they were going through something horrible?
Something making them feel worthless, lifeless, or confused?
Something just like what you're going through.
Everyone has their own
fights with friends,
dating drama,
schoolwork,
and something big to worry about.

Everyone has their own things in life they need to deal with or "try harder" in.
We all have things to work for.

None of us have perfect lives. None of us.

So look around at all those kids in school,
at that guy who seems to be good at everything,
even at the girl who can get any guy she wants.
They all have lives; they all have problems.

They are people too; they're people just like you.
