Hey fellow wittians!
Let me introduce myself. (I'm a not-so-new but
has-a-new-account wittian)
I have a goal (a little Marthin Luther King Jr. I know).
My goal is to make witty a safe, sappy, and caring
environment.
Why?-You ask
Well
I, as an individual, have noticed that witty has changed (as many
of you have been arguing about).
And how has it changed?- You ask again
It hasn't,- if I may answer - we did.
We have become what we fear the most; what we complain about
every day.
Bullies.
bul·ly 1 (bl)
n. pl. bul·lies 1. A person
who is habitually cruel or overbearing, especially to smaller or
weaker people.
As the definition said, bullies affect mostly smaller or weaker
people. Although by the internet, how can you know who is or
isn't weak?
Syberbullying, is the same. Just slightly different.
When you bully someone through the internet, you mostly do it to
feel better about yourself, like in person.
But here, people don't get to see the real you.
And it's amazing how bullied people bully other people even
though they know what it feels like.
They do it because they want to feel powerful.
They think: "Now I get
to be the one that feels good about myself making people
hurt"
Because everyone that is bullied, believe it or
not, wishes to
be the bully and would give everything to be the one who's
laughing and not the one who wishes to be dead.
Some other people, which I like to call 'mentally unprepared
for different individuals', bully people to have a little
self-esteem boost.
And as time goes by, those 'mentally unprepared for
different individuals' get to know the people who get hurt
with the words they say and the peole who don't.
Bullies enjoy to
see their victims defenseless and sad about it.
They laugh their butts off at times too.
They love to feel the power.
A power they didn't even earn. It's a power
that victims gave
to bullies.
A power that can be taken away in a fraction of a second.
Because, you are valuable if you believe you are. You can
be anything you
want to be. And I mean anything.
You just have to realize it. Realize that you
can, if you make yourself want it.
So, let me close this opening ceremony by saying the words ghandi
once said:
"In a gentle way, you can shake the world".
Process them. Believe them. Believe in
yourself. Enjoy life. And enjoy everything.
You only have one life (YOLO moment). Do you really want to waste
your
only life in believing what other people tell you? This
is not like a mario bros game. You can't re start the
game every time
you die. You just die.
And it's scary, but true. Think about it.
You are going to see me around a long time.
I am anonymous, and will remain that way.
I own another account that I have since about a year and a half
ago, which I'm obviously not telling you. My gender will also
remain unknown, think as me as a robot with feelings. But if you
believe in me, I'll believe in you. And we can all believe in
each other. Just trust me in this one, please.
I am going to achieve my goal,
you'll see.
