March 31th, Justin.
I was a bit nervous about tonight. I wanted it to go
smoothly, and i wanted Kelsi to feel special. I want to
tell her how much she means to me. How much she turned my
life around. How when she smiles, it lights up my life. I
want her to be mine.
March 31st, Kelsi
Taylor came over with her makeup. She plans on owning a
beauty parlor after she graduates, and she has a gift when
it comes to making up someone.
I came out of the bathroom wearing my new blue baby doll
dress that cinches at the waist, with silver gladiator
sandals. Taylor had the hair curler on and ready, with
makeup brushes on the desk. I know Justin never said it was
a date exactly, but i wanted to impress him.
I'm just a small town girl, who fell in love with an
international superstar. Yes, I love him. I really,
truly do. The way his eyes light up when he's happy,
the way he makes me feel safe. The way he laughs. The way
he sings. The way he just is.

When i opened the door for Justin, his eyes lit up, and a
grin crept up on his face. I felt myself redden
uncontrollably, and i giggled.
'You look gorgeous.' He winked and took my hand. He
was wearing white suit pants, and a long-sleeve black top
with black converse. He had on aviator shades, and sported
his cut hair flopped to the side.
'As do you, sir.' He laughed and we got in his
fancy-smancy car.
'Where are we going?' I asked, as he took a left
onto exit 2.
'Surprise.'
'I hate surprises.'
'No you don't.
'True.'
We pulled into the car park for the new french restaurant
in town. It's fancy dress, and really expensive.
'Justin.. I.. Wow.'
'It's you and me tonight, best friend.' He
grabbed my hand, and my heart sunk. Best friends. Probably
all we'll ever be.
When we got inside, a waiter brought us to a table set for
2 in a quiet corner. He set down a bread basket, and said
he would be back in a few minutes.
'Alors, jolie dame, comment
trouvez-vous le
restaurant?'
I gaped at Justin. 'Say what?'
He laughed, and asked me, 'How do you like the
restaurant?'
'It's amazing, Justin. I.. I don't know how to
thank you.'
He looked down and smiled.
A few minutes later, the waiter came back and asked our
order.
'Do you mind if i order for you?' He asked. I
nodded and i listened awestruck as he spoke some more
french fluently.
'Je
vais avoir le confit de
canard, de même
que ma jolie
fille ici.'
The waiter smiled. 'oui oui, good
choice.'
I cocked my head. 'What did you order?'
'Suprise.'
I groaned, but laughed. 'Fair enough.'
Justin coughed and looked away. After a few seconds, he
looked me in the eye.
'Kelsi... I.. really like you. I really, really like
you.'
March 31st, Justin
I didn't know how to ask Kelsi out. I mean, i
haven't really gotten the chance to ask out many
girls.
'I really, really like you. And i was wondering, do
you.. Do you want to go out with me?'
There. I said it. Kelsi gawked at me for a moment, before
her eyes lit up with a huge smile.
'Justin.. I don't know what to say?'
'How about.. yes?' I blushed a bit.
'Well yeah, of course! But that was.. really
unexpected!' She reached across the table and hugged me
tight. 'Thanks Justin. I really, really like you
too.' She whispered in my ear.
---
On our way home, i held i Kelsi's hand in the car,
whilst singing loudly to ACDC. She turned down the radio
when we stopped at a red light, and looked over at me and
smiled.
'je t'aime..' I whispered, and kissed her
softly on the lips.
