Which is kind of ironic since I'm a writer. But I'm not, it’s pure and simple. I never think my writing adequately expresses the words I wish to say. Nor the words coming out of my mouth. But I continue to write, acting like I actually have a clue what it's about. But, it never seems correct. I'm almost there, but it's never quite right. It’s unnerving, really, not knowing how to take all the jumble thoughts in my head and turn them into coherent sentences. To make it worse, writing, these days, doesn’t seem to be for sake of writing anymore. It just seems to be for the sake of fame. It's a contest.
Who can take the prettiest words, put them in the prettiest way and wrap it all in a bow? It’s lost its meaning. It all just seems shallow and meaningless. Which saddens me. When did writing become a competition? When did we lose sight of the true meaning of writing? Never mind. Even as I'm typing this, none of it makes sense.

A guy told me he liked
me and i told him i liked him too. But then he never said anything
else on the subject. But I was seeing him the next day because I
had to spend the day at his school, so I figured he was waiting to
ask me out in person. But then when he was on his way to meet me
after school his friend texted me saying to tell him that he'll
be like 5 minutes late and to wait for him before smoking. I
don't mind when he smokes but he promised me he would always
tell me when he does it. He told me he would try to quit for me.
Then I was mad that he didn't tell me and I told him to forget
it and just go smoke. He didn't even try he just said okay and
left. So we got into I fight about that. But then we started
talking again two days later and we were just fine, but he
wasn't flirting as much. Then 2 days later he starts venting to
me about the girl, Sarah, he likes and that she likes him too, but
they live too far. What the hell is with this kid? What should I
do? Me and him are still friends.

Two days after you both say you like eachother then he talks to you about the new girl he likes...? That's kind of just a big "f*ck you"...
