The 2nd Amendment has as of recently become a huge issue, and the debate is whether or not to ban guns. Instead of writing a long essay, I'm going to make a few statements.
A: Bad people will always find a way to get guns, whether or not they are banned. It's called the Black Market.
B: The media covers mass shootings like this so much, it's no wonder to me that these shootings keep occurring. They want fame.
C: If guns are put in the hands of law-abiding citizens, who have taken safety courses on how to handle these situations, then crimes such as the recent shooting could be stopped much more quickly. Fact: In Switzerland, 1 out of two citizens has a gun, and they have the lowest crime rate in the world.
The Constitution is still a live document that permits these very
real rights that we as Americans can live by. If that right is
stripped from us, then the rest of the Constitution could be
vulnerable; furthermore, being deemed a dead document.
Do you understand what will come of that?
