you don't sound like a freak that's just normal. you have no idea how much i can relate to you. my school is split up into teams too and i never get put on the same team as my friends. what i try to do is hang out with them as much as i can after school to let them know we're still bffs. ik how weird and awkward it is to be in class with a bunch of people u don't know or like. like when u have to do stuff with partners and ur by urself. try to get close with at least one other person in each class so when u have to do partner work u don't feel like a loser. as for seeing peoples away messages hanging out and not involving u just because u weren't there for a while on vacation doesn't mean they don't like u anymore. ask them to hang out with you and try to bond as much as u can so u don't drift apart. hopefully u and ur friends will be on the same team and i hope i helped!
