Yeah, not to mention a great new artist you've never really heard before! Exactly. The lyric about the heart sinking really touched me. :) Yeah, that would be a great interview question! It would be great to hear more about the creative processes they go through when making the album and how they really feel about each song. I mean, there's 4 of them, so you have 4 different stories and 4 different connections to the songs, you know? I definitely agree. History can apply to a lot of other situations, but I will always think of this our song, the boys' message to us. My favorite line would have to be, "We can live forever" just because of the way it truly makes me feel like we can keep this going forever. A small break is nothing when you can live forever. :') Also, I loved how the boys kept looking at each other when they sang History on the XF. It really shows the way they feel about each other, too. :') Aw, so much sentiment...

I think so, too! Wow, 70 degrees! That's crazy! Today we actually did get a lot of snow, as we have a couple of time this year. Our weather has been very bipolar as usual! Yeah, we're just a rectangle that almost looks like a square. It's pretty easy to get us confused with other states. :)

I love Harry no matter what he wears, but I have to say, I would looove to see him in a pair of glasses. :) I know, it really hit me, too. Like you said, it felt like the break was supposed to start next year, not right now. But I feel like it's truly going to be okay, too. Oh, I wasn't crying just a little bit last night. I know how you feel, Jenny. It's great for them, and when I think of all the things they'll get to do during the break or all the things they won't have to do, it makes me happy. But it is hard to say goodbye to the way we've known life to be for the past 4 years. It's like graduating from the best school ever, but still knowing that you'll be able to do even more with the people you love in the future. It's sad to think of not hearing from them as much as we have in the past, but I know we'll still see them around. They'll never truly be gone. At times, the break will suck for us and for them, too. We'll be missing touring and concerts and new music, and they will, too. But it'll be alright. We'll always find a way to make it out alive. Us and the boys together. The break isn't going to change that. :) I agree! It's strange, but it's great, haha!

Yep, until we decided to put them on the updates. I couldn't find the very first one I sent you about the tattoos, but those ones are right after that. Aren't those sweet? :) It really is amazing to go back over everything we've done and been through these past 4 years.x

Yeah that's a good point too. Hearing each person's perspective on different parts of the song would be great. I'm hoping that when they come back from the break we get more of those personal answers in interview questions. Yeah I love that line too! I think of it as more of a message to us rather than another situation. And wasn't that the sweetest? They really took that performance to heart and made sure everyone, including each other knew it. They always make sure the important things really matter :) Temporary Fix: On to the bonus tracks! Well, I'm really glad this one didn't turn out as what we worried it was. It wasn't about using a girl as a temporary fix, it's more of a reassurance that she can come to him when she needs a temporary fix. And even if it's in a ;) way it can still be interpreted romantically, you know what I mean? And I actually really like the chorus on this one, "You can call me when you're lonely when you can't sleep I'll be your temporary fix you control me even if it's just tonight." I like how it's kind of like an I'll be there for you type of thing. I also have to mention how much I love the sound of Harry's voice when he says, "Let me be your goodnight". He sounds really hot there :D

Yeah it's been really really warm. Christmas day is supposed to be almost 70 as well. I wish we could get a little snow here. You think you can send me some of yours in a box? And hey that's okay if people get your state confused. I always know which is which!

I would love to see him in a pair of glasses too. I think the boys wearing glasses in a photoshoot is definitely needed right now. Yeah I kept hearing they'd be active through February so them stopping now was a little bit of a shock for me. It's good to cry about it too rather than hold it in. I think everyone who loves the boys cried at some point during this process. But know it'll be okay too :) I need to get a link to Karaoke carpool! I wanted to see it but I missed it! Maybe I'll save it for a day or so just to have something to look forward to. And we have plenty of things to do! Did you hear about the Master List of videos? It's this list of video since 2010 that someone made and they're in chronological order and everything. It's over 3,000 videos so I think it will help keep us occupied over the next year and a half!

That's a good comparison. Life is going to be different than it has been but we have more to look forward to later! Who knows, we could even have a tour to go to later in 2017! They did say they wanted to tour the songs from this album! And if I know the boys, they're going to get bored too. They're so used to having to be on the go all the time. I think after a few months they're going to feel like doing something, even if it's little. Maybe they'll have time to do cool stuff like twitcams again! That would just be awesome! But we will make it through this journey together!

I will definitely pray for you! I know this time of the year can always be tough for students with finals and wrapping up loose ends with school things. But you will get through it! I can't wait to hear everything and finally video chat! I just realized that I really should make a skype account if we want to do that lol.

Oh yeah, they're a great band. You should look up some more of their stuff some time. :) Yeah, I agree. I never would have thought ;) would make me like a sad song even more, but it really does in this one. Yeah, we were pretty right-on with this one! I was expecting in to be faster, but I love it the way it is. It's a lot more sweet than fun. I love that first line, too, and I especially love who sings it! My favorite line, though, would have to be, "I want to build you a boat. One as strong as you are free, so anytime you think that your heart is going to sink, you know it won't. I want to build you a boat." You know, I'd love to know all of the boys' favorite lines from the songs. That would be really fun to hear. :)

When I'm not watching an interview or listening to the boys, the break scares me. But when they're there, either singing or just talking, it always makes me feel better. I have hope. I will! There's nothing more fun than discovering a new amazing song you never knew existed before! Oh yeah I really love that line too! Especially about the heart not sinking! So sweet and supportive! And that would be awesome! That's an interview question I don't think I've really ever heard asked. "What are some of your favorite lines from your songs?" Or "What is your favorite line that you personally sing?" History: This one I just love so much and it means a lot to me. It definitely can be interpreted in more than 1 way. You could see it as having history with someone special but I definitely like to see it as our history and our bond with the boys. That they aren't leaving us and that we will carry on forever no matter what we go through. My favorite line has to be "This is not the end" It's really simple but I think it's one of the most important messages they give us in this song :)

Yeah I'm really happy for them too. It's just so hard because I'm so so happy for them that they're going to get the chance to have some personal time and not have to worry about a busy schedule. They'll get some time to write music and really take their time with it because they won't have deadlines. But the other part of me is really sad because One Direction has literally been my life since I was 16. It's going to be weird not hearing new things about them every day and not having a concert to go to in 2016. 2011 is the last year that I haven't seen them in person. But in the end I feel that it's going to be okay. And to be honest, I could totally see them being bored and coming back early. You never know what they might decide to do :)

Yeah, it all worked out in the end. :) I agree! What a Feeling was a nice surprise! It has a big Fleetwood Mac feel to it, which I really love. It reminds me of Infinity in the fact that both can be interpreted in a very sad way, yet both seem to have this hope in them. The bridge in What a Feeling has that a bit, too. It's like you're tempted to say, "It's too late", but yet you're saying, "Am I too late?" You're struggling, but it's not over. And yes, the the bridge and that line are probably my favorite parts of this song. I don't blame you! The bridges are great!

IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! I thought my seat wasn't going to be that great, but it was actually so, so good! I was right by the place where the artists came out!!! Since there were a lot of acts, they had a revolving stage, so as one artist is performing, the next is getting ready. I got to see all for of the boys walk by me and then do all of their backstage preparation stuff right there! Harry and Niall were messing around and laughing and I got to even see their little huddle!!!! And the performance itself was so great! They sang DMD, Perfect, WMYB, SOML, Infinity, and History! Honestly, during the show, I wasn't even thinking about the break, and History especially made me feel so happy and secure. Afterwards was hard, but I had a lot of hope to carry me through, as I do now, as well. All in all, I am soooo glad I did this. It was one of the best experiences of my life and it makes me feel better about the break. They're going to be okay. We're going to be okay. We won't let it go, we can make some more, we can live forever.x :')

Also, remind me to tell you more about the trip! I did a lot of cool "Harry" things while I was in LA! Again, it was so, so great!!!

The Fleetwood Mac thing doesn't have me surprised at all on that one. I know the boys like their music. Ah it's good to see that my opinion isn't alone on that either. Somehow I find with new songs, I always seem to like and favor the opposite of others. So I'm glad I'm not alone in my opinion this time! Love You Goodbye: This one we were spot on! I think you're right about it being about Louis and Eleanor's split. It's definitely saying I don't want you to leave, can't we have just one more chance? Probably one of the saddest on the album. But beautifully written. My favorite lyric is definitely, "My heart's already breaking, baby, go on, twist the knife". It really drives home how heartbroken he is and it shows raw emotion. I just love that. (The emotion, not the heartbreak) And also like usual, the bridge is pretty great too :)

Oh yeah video editing for the boys would definitely not be the job for me either. Everything that was supposed to be a few minutes would end up being an hour long. Yes, seeing them doing all that backstage stuff was definitely the best part, because I've never gotten to see that all before. It was just so, so perfect. Yes, History always makes me feel completely fine about the break and really everything with the boys. It's a reminder that they've always been there and they always will be. :') Yeah, there were! It was actually funny because I heard so many people say, "I'm only here for One Direction." I even heard these girls talking and one said, "1D af" and the other replied, "Hell yeah". It was so funny! :D A lot of the girls there were actually really dressed up. The girl next to me was wearing a tee shirt with white around the edges and shorts, haha! She loved 5SOS, so later in the show when I saw Ashton and Michael talking in that space where everyone comes out, I showed her and she just flipped out. It was great! :)

Yeah I thought so. I actually haven't heart too much Fleetwood Mac but what I have heard is pretty good. So it's nice that the boys have them as an influence. I know right!? I was thinking the same thing. I definitely wasn't expecting ;) in such a sad song. But in the context it really worked. I Want To Write You A Song: This one was pretty much what I expected it was going to be. Just a song about wanting to write someone a song because they care about them so much. My favorite line is actually the first one "I want to write you a song, one as beautiful as you are sweet. With just a hint of pain for the feeling that I get when you are gone. I want to write you a song." There's just something so sweet about that! I also love the writing sound they have in the background!

Yes, I love it! It's nice to remember that people who aren't fans sometimes enjoy their music, too! I wish American radio stations would play the boys' music more often. I 100% agree. It's a level of honesty and vulnerability we've never heard from them before, and it's just so, so beautiful. I couldn't be more grateful for it. Yeah, although I did think Long Way Down would be about the pre-breakup when it sounds more to me about the post-breakup. Things have ended and it's very difficult to deal with. In my opinion, I think a part of that song was written with Zayn behind. Does that make sense? I agree. This song is incredibly well-written. Lyrics-wise, I love the line, "We built a cathedral, but we never prayed." Vocally, I love the passion Liam and Harry out into the pre-chorus and chorus.

Yeah same here! I hear tons of fans on Twitter saying they hear their songs on the radio all the time! And then I'm here in America and still the only song I hear is WMYB. I don't get it. Yeah I can see what you mean about the Zayn thing. It definitely has that vibe to it too. I know Zayn leaving would definitely have me writing about it if I were them! And my goodness those vocals are spot on! Never Enough.... I literally can never get enough of this one! It just has such a different vibe than anything they've done before. The grunty thing in the beginning caught me off guard but I love it! And this song just screams that Niall wrote it, at least to me. I can feel his personality in there. Yeah we didn't listen to it all when we were eating but I still listen to it on and off throughout the day. Yeah I'm looking forward to the video too. I always look forward to any single they release. I agree, Infinity would not have been my first choice. And I agree with the fans when they were saying that there's better choices on the album. Infinity is a typical 1D song and it wold be cool if they released something else as a single to really turn heads with the general public. Make them go "wow! That's One Direction?" But that being said, some people are being really rude about it and putting the boys down. Like, yeah maybe they could've picked a better choice but Infinity is a great great song and the video and performances of it will be amazing as always and people need to enjoy it!

It's the same way with me. It's a good thing we have other resources for hearing music. Yeah, even we could write songs about Zayn leaving. It's only natural that the boys would. Yes, the vocals are so on point, and you can just feel the emotion in their voices. Yes, Never Enough is such a feel-good, dance-y song! The "hoo-ah" in the beginning really scared me the first time I played it, too! Yes, this song has Niall all over it. I also love how unique it is and just plain fun. My favorite line is probably, "Wanna wake up with you and say, 'Baby, let's do it all over again.'" I love the feeling and the picture that line paints.

Yeah, that makes sense. You can't focus on eating and listening to incredibly amazing music at the same time. ;) Yeah, any time the boys release a video, it's so much fun. They put so much work into those, and to have them to watch over and over again is so great. I personally think "Infinity" is an incredible song, very worthy of being respected by fans and non-fans alike, but I don't think it's a good choice for a single. That being said, I'm still sooo excited to see what the boys do with it, as it's a song I really, really love. What's the point in being rude? You get more by just being kind and finding things to be excited about, not things to complain about.

That whole bridge though is just so beautiful :)

Yeah the videos are always so great and you can tell they put a lot of effort into it. I always watch it at least 6 (now 5) times. Once just in general and then once for each boy so I don't miss a single detail. And I agree, any song the boys have done is worthy as a single and we should all just be proud and support it rather than put it down. Who knows, it could do really well and everyone who doubted them might be super surprised! Or maybe they'll do a forth single after the new year. A lot of people release more than just three off each of their albums.

Yeah, especially at this stage, when you're familiar with all of the songs, but they're all still pretty new. It's hard to just find your stand outs. Yes, I'd love to share out favorite lyrics! That's my favorite, too! The meaning behind it is really beautiful and the way Harry sings it is so amazing. We also hadn't heard Perfect, but we were pretty close on that one. Yes, End of the Day! Yeah, we were a little off the mark. But I do feel like this song covers a wide range of things- taking life as it comes, learning from mistakes, taking chances for love, and of course, just simply wanting to be with someone. I love that lyric, too! My favorite, however, would have to be the first line, "I told her that I loved her, was not sure if she heard". I think it's such a charming and lovely line. And yes, I love the tempo changes. It give the song an extra unique touch.

That would be a really good idea! I think that would be a great way to still stay in touch with us without having to actually disturb the break. Another reason we need to be on their crew! Yeah and I think the fans could still get things sold and get number 1's without tons of promo. They didn't do much promo with Four last year (at least not as much as they've done this year) and that still went number 1. I think the only reason MITAM didn't go #1 here was because of Justin's album. But the power we have as fans is amazing! Look at what we did with the AMAs. We are amazing!

Oh oops! I'm sorry I forgot Perfect! It's been out for so long that it seems like we've known about it for awhile! Yeah that's why I really like End Of The Day! The fact that it just covers so much anyone can relate to it :) So... If I Could Fly. We were definitely right that this was a slower ballad. We were a little off with the meaning. We did get the part about wanting to be with someone. But this one is probably the most open and vulnerable songs they've ever done in their entire career. It's about showing that person how much you love them and they're opening their heart to them in a way they've never done for anyone else. Such a lovely and sweet meaning. The title is what was a bit misleading I think for guessing. As for lyrics I have a lot and I'm sure you won't mind me saying all of them because this is your fave :) I love "I've got scars, even though they can't always be seen. And pain gets hard but now you're here and I don't feel a thing." I love how they say they're defenseless. Actually basically the whole thing is my favorite lyric. I was going through the song and I wanted to choose every part so there you have it!

Oh yeah girl take your time and listen to that album on Thanksgiving break. Yeah, exactly! I think their management really underestimates us sometimes. We can do a lot with a little, you just have to give us something to work with. Also, we don't need HD videos and pictures all the time that require the boys to have extremely long days. Give us a 30 second video taken on an iphone of the boys doing...anything, really. We don't love production. We love them. :)

That's okay! I know what you mean! I actually heard "Perfect" for the first time on the radio today! Yay! Yeah, we were partially on and partially off. To be honest, this song really just took my breath away the first time I heard it. The honesty, the vulnerability, the beauty of it...so, so incredible. And I totally get what you mean about the lyrics. "If I Could Fly"'s lyrics just keep getting better and better and more and more beautiful as the song goes on. I love those two lines, too. I also really love the first two lines, "If I could fly, I'd be coming right back home to you. I think I might give up everything, just ask me to." And God, the chorus. This whole song is just so, so amazing!

Don't you just love hearing their songs on the radio for the first time? Somehow it's more exciting when they pop up on the radio. Like "Hey! I'm not the only one listening to this!" Yeah the vulnerability in this song is what makes it such a good one. I was honestly shocked hearing it because I don't think we've ever heard something so honest from them. It's truly a work of art and probably one of the best songs they've done. So, Long Way Down.. you pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one. It's about a relationship ending and how it was built up so high and now they're just falling down because it's over. We both we right about it being slow. With this one I don't have a specific lyric that I like but I think the verses are what make this song. It shines lyrically and all of the metaphors in the lyrics are what I like best about it :)

I know what you mean. The list of favorites keeps getting more and more ambiguous each album because you start to truly love all of the songs on it, not just a majority. Harry's 3- If I Could Fly, Walking in the Wind, and Olivia- are my favorites, but I genuinely have such a love for all of the songs. Yes, Hey Angel is such a great start for the album! When I first heard it, I had a hard time getting into it as I still couldn't full comprehend the fact that I was about to hear a new album from the boys. But the second time I listened to it, it just all gelled together so beautifully. I love this song. Yeah, I think it could definitely be interpreted as talking to an actual angel, but I also think it could be about talking to someone you know is out there, maybe waiting for you. We were right about it being big, and having a little sad lyrics, but an overall hopeful tone.

I am feeling the exact same way! I just want to play it all the live-long day. A lot of the songs also demand your attention, so I'll be listening to them and just dancing or daydreaming when I'm supposed to be doing something else, haha! Yeah, it definitely has a "hook up" vibe to it, but certain parts of it can be seen in a different way. That's great to hear, Jenny! I'm glad that it was a good experience for you! Mine was good! There were some rough moments, but I felt so good throughout the entire thing. I'll never forget it. :) I know, it's a hard question to answer. I always think of Harry and Niall as the two ends of the spectrum with Louis and Liam in between. Harry's the love song writer, either with very deep and sentimental songs like "If I Could Fly", fun, lovey dovey songs like "Olivia", or a mix between the two like "Walking in the Wind". Niall's the fun writer with "Never Enough" and "Temporary Fix". Liam and Louis are in the middle, writing fun songs like "Drag Me Down" and more serious songs like "Love You Goodbye".

It is so so hard to pick favorites. It like you choose a couple that are your favorites and then you think about the rest of the songs and go "oh wait I love that one too and that one and that one.." and so on. Yeah I think we did a decent job predicting Hey Angel. We were more correct than incorrect. And by the way do you want to say what our favorite lyric is from each song? I think I remember doing that last year. My favorite from Hey Angel is "Tell me do you ever try to get to the other side?" I like that because it shows that the angel might not want to be an angel. It wants to be human like us :) Then I guess the next one that we didn't hear ahead of time was End Of The Day! You were more right about this one than I was. You thought that it was either ;) or coming home to the one you love at the end of the day which is pretty much what it's about. It's also like despite everything, that person is always going to be the one you come home to and want to be with. My favorite line from this one is "And you follow you're heart even though it will break sometimes" Because I feel like that really related to me. Not to mention how interesting that one is with it's tempo changes throughout!

Yeah I haven't really listened to much other music since the album came out. I listen at work and in the car and in my room when I type out my message to you! And I even listen to it in the shower lol. My mom knows some of the words to the songs too. It's an addiction at this point :) And I'm glad you like Olivia. I think it's a favorite among a lot of the fans.

Yeah you could interpret that song as being with him is a temporary fix to something bigger going on. That's the great thing about songs. Different people see them in different ways. Yeah well that's why they work together so well. You have songs filling the entire spectrum. They aren't all love songs or all goofy or in the middle. There's a ton together and they all blend together to make a wonderful album. It's like the perfect fruit smoothie!

Yes, it makes me so happy! And I agree, the album is very kid friendly. I may not recommend the deluxe version because of Temporary Fix and the a*sses thing, but other than that, I'd say this is one of their cleanest albums. It doesn't feel too innocent, but it really is an album that almost anyone could listen to and enjoy. I love that.

Stand outs are still really unclear for me. Because unlike every other album they've made, there doesn't seem to be a clear group of songs that I like better than others.They're all so good! I think if I had to choose an over all favorite it would be Olivia or Hey Angel but I still can't choose! And I'll start! I've been waiting for this too! Okay so for Hey Angel I said that I thought it was about a person who was like an angel and you thought he was literally talking to an angel. So you were definitely right that it was a real angel that he's speaking to! But it's a faster song than we thought! The thing I just love about this one is the music. The violins and the majestic feel it has. It was the first one I heard when I listened for the first time and it got me so excited for the rest!

It is a gem right now! I listen to it allllll day lately. HEY ANGEL-
I’m guessing it’s about a girl who they see as perfect like an angel and basically just an uplifting song telling her how wonderful and beautiful she is. It also could be an overall uplifting song that anyone can benefit from.
It sounds to me like the Angel is actually an angel and he's asking them all these questions about him and the person he's in love with/person he lost/etc. I feel like it'll be the WDBHG of the album- big and upbeat with quite sad lyrics.

PERFECT- I was thinking that it could be about a Perfect person. Either someone they see as perfect and love or even someone who is perfect and it makes them jealous. Or perhaps a Perfect relationship that they either have now or lost in some way.
I would guess the song is about how they aren't perfect, but they're perfect for that girl. They're not the ideal dream man, but they can be a perfect fit for this person they like.

END OF THE DAY- I think this one is maybe about their tour life. Possibly about how they have their most amazing times at the end of the day. Or maybe it could be about spending time with loved ones.
I'm going to guess that this song is a ;) song, if you know what I mean. I'm guessing it'll be fast since it follows 2 mid-tempo songs. But if its slow, I'm guessing it'll be a sweet love song about coming home to the one you love at the end of the day.

IF I COULD FLY- This one has me slightly puzzled. I'm thinking possibly the DFWYB song of this album. Like maybe it's about wanted to be able to fly home or fly to an important person instead of being away. Or maybe just a song about wanting to be free.
I think it'll be a big "only if" and "I wish" song, in the sense that you're wishing for something, but you can't have it right now for whatever reason. They could be wishing to literally fly away from whatever they're doing and be with a loved one or they could be wishing to fly away from the way they've been living and finally be content. Wow, that got quite deep. Watch this song be totally upbeat and we're just being sappy saps, haha :)

LONG WAY DOWN- Now Long Way Down seems like it's going to serious and I feel possibly slow. I feel like it could be about how high up they are in the sense of their career. Possibly like it's a long way down from where they are to go back to a normal life? This one is a bit ambiguous. I'm quite curious about this one too because I have another song called Long Way Down from the Fault In Our Stars Soundtrack. I'm curious to compare meanings.
I think that Long Way Down is going to be serious and slow, too. I'm thinking more along the lines of a relationship. It could be a break up song about losing someone and now you're falling (and it's a long way down). The first time I heard this, though, my instinct was of a couple who have been together for a long time, and they both know, (and this sort of rhymes), if they ended it now, it'd be a long way down. So...don't look down. This one is pretty unclear, though.

NEVER ENOUGH- Like others have said, I think this could definitely be a ;) kind of song. But I was also thinking perhaps it could be about the fans. How the boys maybe feel like they're never able to do enough for us at times. Or how people keep demanding so much for them and it's never enough. But I'd like to think it's a ;) song because that would be more on a happy note. According to Wikipedia Niall was the main writer of it, so who knows!
Do you think Never Enough is that song that someone leaked a few seconds of in July? The one that went, "I don't need my love, You can take it, you can take it. I don't need my heart, you can wreck it, you can break it"? I remember there being something about never getting enough. Either way, I think this will be a ;) song, too, at least to some degree. I think it'll be fun and super fun to dance to. I'm really looking forward to hearing it!

OLIVIA- Then onto Olivia. This one is really ambiguous with the meaning because it's just a name. According to the writing credits (whether they're a true or not) it's apparently written by Harry. Olivia could be kind of like a Diana song. It's not really a particular person but represent the fan base like that one did. Or it could be representing someone else in their lives but they're not using their real name. Or it could be a generic love song and they just picked that name. But I do feel like it's going to be a love song of some sort.
Anyways, yes, Olivia. I saw that Harry was a writer on this one, too. I'm thinking along the same lines as you. I think it'll be a sweet, maybe sad, love song. Probably not about someone actually named Olivia, but like Dianna, throwing in a name that anyone could really be. 2 other little theories I have for this song: 1. Harry got the name Olivia from Gemma's cat (who in named Olivia Pope in honor of the TV show Scandal). 2. Did you ever listen to that interview when they were asked about a standout lyric and Liam said, "I live for you, I long for you (insert name)"? I'm guessing Olivia was the song it came from. But yes, total love song is my guess, probably slow.

WHAT A FEELING- Next, What A Feeling. This one has got me scratching my head. Perhaps another ;) song? Or maybe it's about just feeling in love or the feeling they get when they're on stage.
Yeah, this one seems pretty simple, but it's hard to figure out what exactly it's about. It's hard to analyze it, you know? I like your theories. I think it'll be an upbeat song about the ;) feeling or about the feeling of being in love. We're on the same page for this one! :)

LOVE YOU GOODBYE- Love You Goodbye, I don't know about you, but I think this will be a slow one and quite sad. I might be wrong but I feel like the title says it all. Love You Goodbye just sounds like maybe like leaving someone that you don't want to leave but you don't really have a choice. Maybe one about missing someone while on the road.
I somehow lost mine, but I remember thinking it was about Louis and Eleanor's split. I thought it would be along the lines of the different types of goodbyes. There are "I never want to see you again and hate you" goodbyes and there are "I wish we didn't have to end this and I still love you" goodbyes. Theirs was the latter.

I WANT TO WRITE YOU A SONG- I'm thinking it's going to have the title as one of the lines for sure. Maybe it's about wanting to write them a song but not knowing what words to put into. This could be about any kind of song too you know? It could be fast or slow too.
Yeah, I think I Want to Write You a Song will be a fast, lovey song about liking or loving someone so much. You like them so much, that darn it, you just want to write them a song. That's my main feeling for that one.

HISTORY- So History... I didn't listen to it but people who did are saying it's about the fans which is really sweet! So I'm assuming it's maybe about our times together with the boys and the things we've accomplished together?
Oh really? I haven't heard too many meanings for the songs, but that doesn't surprise me. I imagined History to either be a sad break up song ("we're history" "I'm history"), a I'm-fine-without you breakup song ("you're history"), or a sweet song about "our history". From what you heard, it sounds like it's the last one. :)

TEMPORARY FIX-Niall wrote this one. And from the fans' descriptions I've heard this is definitely a ;) song. Apparently it's basically about hooking up and that it's just a temporary fix for his "needs"?? Lol Before hearing the predictions I would have guessed it to be a sad song actually. We'll see...

I mean, I am all one for ;) songs, but I like ;) with someone you love and care about, not to fulfill your (ugh, it even feels weird to type it) "needs". I felt like Alive sort of had that message, too. But I like Alive and I'm sure I'll like this one, too. :) I would have guessed it was sad or ;), too. Either about trying to save a relationship that you know is going to fall apart anyways or trying to fix a relationship you know isn't going to work out anyways with a little bit of ;).

WALKING IN THE WIND- So... Walking In The Wind. All I know about this one is that fans said that it was sooo good. But nothing else. I feel like this could just be about being on your own maybe. Or perhaps breaking away from something? Or I could totally picture Harry just writing a song about walking in the wind because his umbrella blew away :).
Yes, Walking in the Wind. That's so great to hear! I hadn't heard that much about this one, but I'm so glad the fans like it! I heard that Harry said this was inspired by Paul Simon's album, Graceland, so I bet it'll have a very relaxed feel to it. As for the meaning, this song is one of the most ambiguous. I like your ideas. I think it could be about being alone or maybe going through a hard time. Or maybe it's just about taking life as it comes, just walking in the wind. But if it's a song that tells a story, like "I was just walking in the wind and this happened" I'd love that, too! Of course, it could be about his umbrella, too. ;)

WOLVES- I'm not going to say anything because I kind of know what this one is about based off something Liam said. It's written by him I believe and from what he said, I feel like it will be a fast one. But that's all I'll say. Though I'd love to hear your guess.

Yeah, I can see that. It's nice to expand your roots, but still feel like you're home somehow. Ugh, that must be hard. I hate it when a coworker goes out of their way to try and annoy you. :/ Haha, you mom must have been confused! I realized pretty early on after that that I could trust you with my name, haha! :) Well, I would totally recommend doing that someday! I went to a Supernatural convention last week and it was so much better than I was expecting. I was expecting to have fun, but I just had such a blast. Yeah, I see that, too. The over 25s just have more experience with a stage and an audience where a lot of the younger people have never performed to anyone outside of their family and friends. Age shouldn't matter in talent, but it's unfair to think of the younger acts as having more potential than the older ones. It doesn't make sense. Oh yeah, those documentaries can really bug me sometimes. I just want to hear the boys talk about it all, not someone who's never even met them before. But yes, when is it ever bad to see the boys' faces on TV? :) Oh, Jenny...you know just how to tell me interesting facts without giving anything away. Oh yes, it's just the highlight of my day! Every Tuesday and Thursday we watch them, and it's so cute to hear them talking about the boys. A lot of them want to have One Direction birthday parties and buy the new album. I'm not promoting the album until I hear it and can say which are kid-appropriate, though, haha!

Yeah they really haven't said what the next single will be. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what they'll choose! And yes, your statement is correct! I really could see any one of these songs being a single. They are all spectacular!

Yeah that's what I meant. And even though now I've heard the whole thing, I still can't say which is the favorite. I've always heard your first opinion of something isn't always your true opinion. I think I need to listen to the album as a whole multiple times before definitely saying which is my favorite. Though I still think this one is! Yes! The album being out is just such a great feeling! It made me happy today! And by the time you read this, you'll probably have heard it too :) Yeah when your voice is off you can reach a lot lower than before! I sometimes even sound like a man!

Yeah and since you've also probably heard the album by now, I can say it's definitely not as bad as I was thinking. It's kind of the other way around from what we were thinking. Oh yes. Yeah the Overs have wanted it longer than the others so they've probably tried different experiences so they're more comfortable. And yeah age really has nothing to do with talent. Everyone has an equal chance to win and do well in today's market. Do you remember Mary from the boys' year? She was in her 50's and was amazing! So you're never too old! Yeah I know these people never met the boys before except for the one dude because he looked really familiar. But most of the people were just randoms that really didn't know the real facts. Ah I try my best Katie ;) I want to say enough to make you curious but not too much that I tell you more than you want to know. I know how important it is to you to have your moment just hearing it.

Oh yeah, it's going to keep me happy for a long long time. I can't stop listening to it. Even at work I have it on non stop!

Yeah they're super reliable. I've talked to the one girl before. She lives nearby to me! And yes! History was the next one though I'm not sure if it's a single or if they're just releasing it early. I've heard people say that it's better than all the ones before it. And they said they're not just saying that like we always do but because they really felt that this one was the most heartfelt and that the boys also put so much effort into it. It's truly an amazing album. I've also heard that there's a song that people see as an Act My Age 2.0 and one that's a No Control 2.0. I don't remember which ones though. And that's basically it. I've been trying to stay away from too many spoilers!

I live in the suburbs which isn't so bad. But I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of the typical suburban lifestyle. I'd much rather live in my own little rural area, does that make any sense? Yeah I'll defintiely ask you if we end up going! Yeah that makes sense. There's not that much to talk about right now. Yeah it's not fair. The over 25's are some of the most experienced there. They deserve respect too. Yeah I've heard him say that in a lot of documentries I've seen about the boys. And I don't remember the exact name but it was on AXS TV the same channel that shows UK XF. They have documentries on tons of different people. Aw when you put it that way, it just makes it so much more special! I'm so proud to be a part of that story. :')

I did just watch some of them a few days ago. They actually made me really happy! And I'd be happy to email you some!

Well, what I do is I preorder the album through iTunes and I also buy the physical CD in the store. So usually at midnight the songs will be available in iTunes and I'll just listen to them in the middle of the night in the dark after everyone's gone to bed so I know I won't have any inturruptions. I just listen to the whole thing straight through from beginning to end. And then in the morning, I'll go to the store and buy the physical album and look through the book. And since I don't really listen to CDs in the house I use my phone inside and usually keep the CD in the car. Right now it's filled with the other 4 albums :)

Yeah I agree! So far it does seem to be the best but I feel like we haven't anything yet. There's so much we have to look forward to. Yeah I think you might be right. I actually have no idea which state I'd live in. I really like Pennsylvania and there's some nice open places here too. I don't want to live in Bethlehem forever but I'd like to stay semi nearby. Yeah you're probably right. Everyone always tries to push my buttons here so I'm sure this is another example of that. I'm glad that you thought I was real. And yeah! I do remember that! Yeah that's true. 2016 will be a processing year. I'm looking forward to that but of course I'll miss the boys being active all the time too. Oh good! I'm glad it's a real thing! That's what voice part I'll be! Yeah I usually can sing most of them in their written key. Some are too low. For example, Liam's notes in Drag Me Down are a little too low, but if I get a cold and my voice is all froggy I can hit them.

Yeah I've personally noticed that the over 25's seem to have a general composure that the younger people don't alway have. Especially the super young ones that are 15. I think the pressure gets to them more easily in some ways. It was a good show but some of things they said weren't true. There were some things that were said that just seemed off to me. But overall it was nice seeing the boys' faces on my TV. Yes it does! And (without spoiling) History probably could be interpreted in more than 1 way. I feel like it could be related to the fans or other situations. But we can talk about that in our after analysis. And yes I think you'll be really happy after hearing the song. I think it has a sound that you'd like too.

Exactly. It's unfair, as it's hard to live up to the biggest boy group and the biggest girl group on the scene right now. You've just got to stand out and show you're not trying to be the next One Direction or the next Little Mix. I think that's what worked so well for the boys. They weren't trying to be anything but themselves, and God, were they great. :) It's still hard to believe that those boys on the XF are our boys now. Yes, it was so beautiful. We went through a lot, but every moment of it was beautiful. :') I felt like I had bottled up all of my feelings about the tour ending a few days before, and once it was over, it all just came out in tears. But it they were good tears, if that makes sense.

Yeah, in general I'm more of a country girl than a city girl. I don't like roughing it big time or anything, but I'd take living in a more rural area over a city any day. But then again I wouldn't mind seeing cities in Colorado because I've never been there. I'd like to see it all at least once. And I don't know yet. I haven't seen Phantom of the Opera in a long time. I don't have a specific version that I really like. I don't even know who the current cast is at the moment. But I really liked the guy who played the phantom back when I saw it. I just can't remember his name. Yeah I have certain songs that work with my voice and ones that don't. Sometimes there's just songs that don't always work for me.

Yeah it must be tough. One of the girl groups actually went home this week so that just proves how tough it is. Yeah and I know they're always trying to prove that they aren't like One Direction which is hard too. Everyone assumes that all boybands and girlbands are going to be the same. Yeah the boys just doing them made it all work so much better. I don't think they would have been nearly as successful if they tried to mimic other bands from the 90's or something. I find it hard to believe too! It's just so crazy how those young cluless boys are now so experienced and so good at what they do. Yeah imagine telling them all they'd accomplish back when they were young. They would have never believed it.

Yeah it makes sense because I felt the same way. I didn't cry much this year after my show. I just felt happy that I went and I enjoyed it. But when it ended it really hit me. I just woke up and saw everything and it hit me. But it's all a good thing at the end of the day.

Aw that's a shame. And no I didn't go. It was too short notice for my parents to take me and I had to work that night anyway.

Ugh, were they the first ones to go? That sucks. :( Yes, some people just try too hard to prove their not trying to be One Direction, but people still act like they are. Yes, as a group and individually, they've all grown up so much. It's insane when you really stop and think about it.

Yeah, those emotions are just so intense, too. It's great that you got to say, hey, I enjoyed that without feeling sad, but all of that hitting you like a ton of bricks must have been hard. But in my experience, I've learned that that pain always passes and you get to see it as a good thing again.

Yeah it feels good to wait this time around. I'm really enjoying it! I think I may just do it from now on :) And I just got the info from update accounts. They have more followers than any of them and have been around since XF days. I trust their info the most. Yeah I'd love to see both. I guess I'm not a huge fan of crowds. I like open space so that's why I'm more suited to country life. But I like to visit the city from time to time. Yeah they did. A group and an over 25 went home. It must be tough with such high standards to meet. And with the boys and other groups doing so well in the market right now, a lot of the public might not be looking for a new group to like either. And that's what Simon always says. I watched a 1D documentry a few weeks ago where they explained why One Direction worked and Belle Amie didn't. They said that the boys just were themselves and didn't try to be something they weren't, unlike the girls. That's what the public liked that's why they did so well. The whole thing is just so wonderful though. Their whole story is just amazing and I don't see it ever happening again either. At least not for another 100 years or something lol.

Since they're a group, interviewers ask about how they all feel about the song, but it would be nice to hear from the main writers a bit more. For each song the boys had a part in writing, it would be cool to hear about their process with it. Do you know what I mean? Yes, exactly! That sounds like a golden idea to me! Yeah, I might look up the writer's list tomorrow and see if there's anything legitimate out there. Yeah I am like you in that way for sure. I'm always hard on groups because I see them as needing to meet the boys' standards. No one ever does. And I always find myself comparing girl groups to Little Mix because I see them as being at the top of the list as far as girl groups go. But you're so right, there will never be another One Direction. Yes Simon does know what he's doing. That's how the boys are able to have the crazy success like the Beatles. And the craziest thing is that they've beaten the Beatles! Who would ever think they could be beaten. They were the most popular group in the 60's!

Oh, cool! I wasn't able to watch tonight. Were Louis and Simon on tonight? Yeah, he did have some really strong singers last year, but don't you every year to some degree? Everyone on that show is there for a reason, and it's so terrible to make the people in your category feel bad for their age or their talent when they're on the freakin' X Factor. Yeah that might be a good idea! I don't have too many followers but it might help! The other big problem is that anyone on Twitter probably follows the big update accounts that are on there. But I like mine because I try to keep the drama out of them. So many of those updaters brag about how many shows they go to and I hate that.

Yes! And not just the 17 songs but then song like Home come out and it's even more of a surprise! It's kind of like when they did the Target edition of the TMH album. Those 3 extra songs were a real pleasant surprise to me! Yeah I'm not sure if that song is actually in the movie or one they just put on the soundtrack. Because there's some songs on there that I don't remember being in the movie. Ah! Perhaps it is! I totally forgot about that! Sometimes those leaked song just disappear too. I still wish Just Can't Let Her Go made it on the album that time. It sounded so good but they gave it to someone else to sing. But I agree with your idea. It'll be a fast one for sure. And I'm not sure if it is or not. Possibly not for 2 reasons. 1. There's some songs on there with no info on the writer. And 2. A lot of them don't list the boys as having written them. A lot just say Jullian or people I've never even heard of. So it's possible that it's fake or incomplete. I'd like to think the boys wrote more of them than what's list on there. Then onto Olivia. This one is really ambiguous with the meaning because it's just a name. According to the writing credits (whether they're a true or not) it's apparently written by Harry. Olivia could be kind of like a Diana song. It's not really a particular person but represent the fan base like that one did. Or it could be representing someone else in their lives but they're not using their real name. Or it could be a generic love song and they just picked that name. But I do feel like it's going to be a love song of some sort.

I actually wasn't able to watch it either but from what I heard they were on the Saturday episode, which airs over here on Sunday. I have it recorded on the DVR so I'll probably watch it tonight! Oh yeah, every year you're going to have those extremely talented people and you have no clue how they got to be that good. Every category has one of those. Yeah I agree. If you've gotten that far into the show, you're not talentless. You've gotten there for a reason. And Simon's really good at what he does so I'm sure even if the category seems a little weak, he can make them great! I feel like Simon's category has won more than they've lost. And even when they didn't win, like with the boys, they've been major success! So he defintiely needs to chill out and make the people he has into great artists.

Yeah, you never know who might see them and be interested. The thing I like best about your updates is how short and sweet they are. Instead of going through tweet after tweet trying to find answers, you can see it all typed out in a few sentences on your updates. You're the only person I know who does that. :)

Yeah, the boys do a great job at making their shows enjoyable for them, the fans, and those who aren't fans. I feel so lucky to have been to 3 of those lovely, lovely shows. :) Oh my God, that is so kind of you and your mom to offer! Tell her I say thank you and that I so appreciate that. Yes, that was one of the best surprises ever! It's so nice to have that EP, too! Yes, I loved the whole TMH Target edition idea! That was so great. :) Yeah, it may not be. A lot of songs made for movies don't quite make it in during the show, but I'd still love to hear it. I'll try to look it up soon. Yes, I was so happy when I heard about Never Enough, because I'm so glad it wasn't another Just Can't Let Her Go. I loved that song, even though it probably was a little too mature for what they were singing at the time. I love to listen to it on youtube still! Same with Another World and I Should've Kissed You, haha! Those songs are so amazing and fun. :) Yeah, I think it's probably incomplete. I mean, a lot of those writers sound legitimate, but there are too many songs where none of the boys are listed as writers. Plus, "Hey Angel" doesn't have Harry listed as a writer, which is strange considering how much he's been tweeting about it. Anyways, yes, Olivia. I saw that Harry was a writer on this one, too. I'm thinking along the same lines as you. I think it'll be a sweet, maybe sad, love song. Probably not about someone actually named Olivia, but like Dianna, throwing in a name that anyone could really be. 2 other little theories I have for this song: 1. Harry got the name Olivia from Gemma's cat (who in named Olivia Pope in honor of the TV show Scandal). 2. Did you ever listen to that interview when they were asked about a standout lyric and Liam said, "I live for you, I long for you (insert name)"? I'm guessing Olivia was the song it came from. But yes, total love song is my guess, probably slow.

Let's be honest any 1D surprise is a good one. Yeah movie songs aren't always put in but this one would have been great in it. Maybe it was in the credits or something. I'm glad it's not like that either. But I totally agree, Just Can't Let Her Go was totally too mature for the TMH era. But they could have saved it for later! I still listen to those too! Yes! I just watched it today! Louis was so great as Simon's assistant! He was so sweet and polite to the contestants and he also put in some really great input! I could picture him being a judge one day. Yeah Simon actually admitted that he was wrong when he complained about them but he's happy now to have them and looks forward to working with them which is really good. He said he thinks one of them could possibly win the entire show! I'm glad that his attitude had turned around. And I agree, even if you weren't a fan, just looking at the fact that the boys hold records that no one has ever touched and they've had such global success, they're definitely Simon's biggest success and I think it's going to stay that way too. I'd bet that at the end of his career, if someone were to ask Simon what one of the greatest artists he's mentored he'd say them at least as one of them.

I know! I can't wait to see him though. Out of all of the boys, he's the one I can see being a judge the most. I think he'd be so good at it. It's okay so far. Last year I found more people I really really liked. This year I haven't really attached myself to any one particular person. But there's some great people. I love how he doesn't do that anymore. It really makes me happy just to see that confidence in him. The song was called a Christmas Carol. I forget who it's by but it was kind of a lilting slow but really beautiful with its harmony. I wished we could have sung it again.

I like being surprised about them too. I've said this before but the guessing stage is the best part of album season. Except for getting the actual music of course. Yeah it is a really sad song but super good. I think they have it on the soundtrack because it has to do with someone not wanting their loved one to die. It's pretty good though. But on a happier note, let's talk about Never Enough! Like others have said, I think this could definitely be a ;) kind of song. But I was also thinking perhaps it could be about the fans. Yeah I think it's on tonight actually! It's judges houses, I just don't know if they'll show the overs tonight or if that will be tomorrow. And yeah Simon did get the overs last year but I think the category was stronger last year. And I totally agree, I mean he literally said I don't want to work with these people right to their faces and said they were disappointing and worst category you could get. That's just terrible to say. Like you said, you're supposed to be mentoring these people and helping them to improve. I just hope he gets over it and treats them better.
