some may think its not a sport but we all know there dead wrong.
hours and hours of practice, perfecting your routine to garuntee
you are the best. holding or throwing almost 100 pounds in the air,
and then having it fall back onto you. the countless bruises,
pulled muscles, broken bones and scratched skin. the priscision and
technique. the perfection. the feeling like your going to pass out
from doing a routine over and over, all for that 3 mintues on the
matt in competition when nothing else matters. its all about that
moment to show what you have been practicing so hard for. the
pannel of judges watching everything. you lose sense of everything
and you cant even think. theres no better feeling then the cheers
of the crowd because they find the stunting, tumbling, dancing and
unicine of your routine amazing. PEFECTION IS KEY, there is no such
thing as being a "half a millisecond" off with the rest of the
team. twenty something people, looking as if they were one, its
amazing. aREALcheerleader does not cheer for the popularity or the
boys or for the title. a REALcheerleader does it for the love of
the sport, for the drive in her heart and the determination she
has. for that 5 mintues of awards, praying to god that her team got
first. and when they do, its the best feeling in the world, a
natural high that no one can bring you down from. a REALcheerleader
loves what she does and refuses to give up, no matter how difficult
it can sometimes be. for the high & low V's, for the back tucks and
layouts, for the basket tosses and libs, for the scorpions and
heelstretches, for the craddles and twists - to a REALcheerleader,
CHEERLEADING IS LIFE <3
