Some people think suicide is a joke, a way to get attention, to
gain charity that you don't need. Well its
not. 4 months ago, one of my great friends Grace killed
herself. She was literally the most beautiful girl I have
ever seen without a doubt. No, she wasn't bullied, but it
was all just the same. She changed our school forever.
My school had a reputation of being a "scary" or
"bad" school, but I will tell you it is no longer like
this. Our school has changed, the students changed, the
teachers changed. Because of Grace. She was really
loved, she was popular, had a junior for a boyfriend, was a
freshman on the varsity lacrosse team, a perfect life. Well
her life wasn't perfect, Grace was in a state of depression,
her parents knew it too. On the morning that Grace killed
herself, her mom was running late from a meeting and was trying to
get home so she could take grace to a therapist to see what
was wrong. Grace had stayed home from school that day and she
didn't know her mom was just running late, she thought her mom
forgot about her, that she gave up on her. She felt
alone. She walked out to the family barn and hung
herself. When I heard the news, I can't even describe the
feeling I felt. Just plain shock. I never want anyone
else to feel this way. So, please if you ever have anything
you need to talk about, please talk to someone. People really
do care. Gracie would be amazed if she knew how many people
really did care about her and loved her. Please SPEAK
UP! You may realize that someone does care. Rest In
Paradise Gracie> I love you with all my heart.
