Kelsey Harris, that's my name. Don't
wear it out. I know, I know, it sounds pretty simple and
original, but that describes me perfectly: simply and
original. Actually, I like being thought of that. Almost
like a girl next door, or something like that.
With my long, brown hair, which falls about midway down my
back, complete with side swept bangs that are short enough
to barely cover my lily pad green eyes, who could disagree?
I know, I may sound pretty self centered and completely
wrong by the was I'm describing myself, but trust me, I'm
not.
Anyway, I have a pretty close-knit group of friends.
Besides me, it consists of Kelly, the ditzty blonde who is
sure to be lost in any conversation, Jenna, the boy crazy
one with sleek, jet black hair, and chocolate brown eyes
that could melt any boys heart; with just one look, and
Kylie, the blonde who, with her looks, personality, brains,
and humor, could easily be named valedictorian.
Now that I've introduced you to all the girls, I should
really tell you about the guys. First off, there's Connor,
the sports addict who may come off as jerky and obnoxious,
but deep down, is a sweet, sincere guy. Next up is Eric,
the typical player who cares about nothing but hockey,
parties, of course his friends, and no surprise, girls.
Other than that, he's a pretty awesome guy to have your
back. All the guys are. Especially Jason.
Now, you're probably wondering who that is, aren't you?
Well, let me tell you. Jason is, by far, my best
friend. That may sound weird, considering all the people
I've named are my best friends, but Jason is the number one
on that list.
Ever since that day, thirteen years ago, where Jason and I
first met in Miss. Macker's kindergarden class, we've been
close. Now, it seems as if we've formed an inseperable
bond, which could never be broken. We've shared everything,
whether it be food, birthday parties, and even secrets,
it's all been done.
It's pretty wild to think that, throughout the thirteen
years we've known each other, one of us would have fallen
in love with the other, like in the movies. But so far,
nothing, which I'm fine with. I'll come straight out with
it and say I see Jason Daniels as nothing more but the best
friend I could ask for.
But even though I don't have a major crush on him, or
worship his every move, doesn't mean I still get angry when
he has a new girlfriend. Especially when they're a typical
Barbie type girl, who thinks he would drop his life for
her.
But then again, I have nobody to blame but myself. With
piercing blue eyes, and chocolate brown hair that had small
streaks of lighter highlights from the sun that fell above
them, this was bound to happen. What girl wouldn't want to
be with Jason Daniels?
Well, anyway this is a typical cliche love story where two
best friends fall in love after years of knowing each other
and wham! they fall in love. No, this is much
different.
This is about me, Kelsey Harris, and Kelsey Harris' real
life story about the problems she faces, and how she
overcomes them. Who knows, maybe there'll be a little bit
of romance along the way.
"But I know, If I could do it
over I would trade, give away all the words that I saved in
my heart; that I left unspoken..."♥
