Chapter 3


"Lulu, you okay? You've been in there for like ten minutes." Tony said. "What? Oh I'm fine, I was just uh, reading my book." I said trying to fix myself up.
"I'll be out in 2 seconds." I said, and opened the door.
Should I ask him about it? No, what if he thinks that I actually was looking for something. The doorbell rang before I got the courage to ask him--Thank God.
I answered the door and got the pizza. I walked into the living room and Tony was looking at his phone, probably reading the text. His face was expression-less so he knew I was right there.
"Who is it?" I asked sitting down next to him.
"Huh? Oh, nobody." He stuttered and threw his phone on the chair. I opened the pizza box and the smell of cooked dough filled my nose.
"Oh my gosh, this smells so-" I started.
"Listen uh... I got to go. Sorry babe, I love you." He said and gave me a kiss. I savored that kiss, because I know it's going to be our last.
