i am sick of people saying dance is not a sport....i spend sixteen
hours a week dancing..........i sweat i have broken bones, i have
had foot fungus, knee surgery, infected blisters, developed bunions
at age twelve, cried over a bad performance, wept after not getting
in the perfect dance, pulled muscles. I push my self to the limits,
if i am in a full split i bend over my leg to stretch further, to
increase my core strength i do the extra sit ups....i sacrifice my
time my body and my health for dance and i am over hearing i am not
good enough to be considered an athlete because i do more than you
will ever do.
