i think you are an amazing friend and person. honestly, this is a tough situation. the boy sounds like he's not the kind of boy you'd want to waste your time on. you AND bestie 2 should forget him, let him ruin someone else's friendship, not yours. i think that bestie 2 is very.. confused? but at the same time i'm not sure that's not the right thing to call her. she doesn't seem as nice as you.. if that makes sense. she pretty much stole your crush from you and bestie 1, breaking your heart and hers. i've been in the situation of bestie 2, and i let the boy go. i couldn't stand to see my friend hurt. chicks before d*cks. i know that's kinda nasty, but it's true. you can't just let a boy ruin a friendship. ESPECIALLY if you're as close as you say you are. i would say to wait. give bestie 2 some time to cool off and think, she'll come around. and when she does, you need to sit down and have a rational conversation about this boy. you should both just let him go. i know how truly hard that is, especially when you like a boy a lot. but it's usually for the best. i hope i helped, and if you ever want to talk i'm here anytime.
