Today in English,
my teacher was almost in tears talking about the Connecticut
shooting. It was early in the day anyway, and he said he'd been
crying all weekend. He's my favorite teacher. But anyway, I
almost burst into tears right there, and I don't cry for just
anything. But it's just so sad, and so psychotic. I was
watching the news, and one of the little girls that was killed
carried markers and paper with her wherever se went, because if
someone looked sad, she drew a picture to make them feel better.
Isn't that the sweetest thing ever? And to think, she's no
longer with us. But my teacher was so heartbroken, and he said the
principal told him they'd have a moment of silence for the
people who died at the end of the day. We never had the moment of
silence. Sorry for the vent, I just don't think my school
should make it like it never happened. They need to be
remembered.
