If you know me you'd know that
I don't tell anybody anything. I keep things to myself.
Today I messaged him and he asked how I was. I was fed
up with pretending to be alright so I said "Honestly, I
am really not okay. I can't do this anymore." I was kind

even message back. This is why I don't trust people.

Chapter 15. Jordan's
POV.
"Thanks Chris" I wipsered while pushing a piece of my long
brown hair behind my ear.
He nodded as I stepped out of the car.
The clouds above me where turning grey.
I felt a drop of water on my shoulder and I could feel the
chills running through my body.
I spinted towards the door and turned around to see Chris
already driving away.
"Jordan?" I heard Lance's voice through the big wooden
door.
He looked tired and worn out.
"Cheyenne's asleep. She's a really sweet kid."
I nodded and forced a smile as I looked at the ground under
my sandal covered feet.
"Do you want me to stay here with you, Jordan?" Lance wiped a
tear from my cheek.
I couldn't gain the strength to say anything so I just nodded
my head.
Lance set up a pallet on the floor in the living room for him
so I could sleep on the couch.
He chose the movie and we ended up watching Despicable me, he
doesn't know that I love that movie.
"Lance?" I wispered.
Lance's body turned to face me.
"Yeah?"
"Will you come up here with me? Please"
I was still fighting back tears. I didn't want to show Lance
that I wasn't strong.
Suddenly, Lance had a big blanket in his hand walking towards
the couch. He sat down right beside me and put his big
muscular arm around me.
I actually felt safe.
I layed my head on his shoulder and slowly wrapped my arm
around his chest area.
"Jordan.." His deep voice trailed off.
I looked into his brown eyes and I felt something, I don't
know what.
I felt like I was flying like nothing could mess this up.
"Huh?"
"Do you wanna talk about it?" He was playing with my hair and
I could feel his hand tense up.
I couldn't really say anything as I felt the warm drop of
water fall from my eye.
I pushed the right side of my face into his chest as I
covered the left side with my hand.
"It's okay, Jordan. You can talk to me."
I nodded as I sat up and crossed my legs.
"Never in a million years would I ever think that something
like this would happen to me. Who would've thought that this
would happen to my family. I just can't grasp the fact that
this really happened. "
His hand rested on my leg as I brushed my fingers through my
hair.
"Jordan, Can I tell you something?" He wispered as his eyes
filled with tears.
