you guys know absolutely

nothing about self-harm.

there are countless different ways people hurt themselves. cutting is only

one of them. people burn, bruise, scratch -- literally anything hurtful you

can think of, they'll inflict it on themselves.  whether you understand it or

not, people who self-harm like it. they like the feeling of it. they like how

it takes them to another place, away from their problems.

telling people to "just stop"   when it comes to self-harm is so, so selfish

of you. it's an addiction. it's an addiction. IT'S AN ADDICTION. it should

not be so hard for you guys to        understand but it seems none of you

understand        addictions to begin with. whenever people make quotes

about smokers or drinkers or drug addicts   there are tons of uniformed

wittians who comment stupid things like,  "if you want to stop smoking,

just stop." if it was that easy nobody would smoke.

what i'm trying to say is you guys cannot make      assumptions or jokes

about something you don't know.      it's not your fault you don't under-

stand, but it is your fault that you're not trying to.

i know you have a little

life in you yet.

i know you have a lot

of strength left.
