The lake
CHAPTER 1
As I looked across the lake all I saw was darkness, and I think to myself how my parents can do this to me? What did I do that made them think lets drop Julia off with her creepy aunt and psycho cousins for the summer, My aunt Jess and my cousins were not the typical family they liked to be different and when I say different I mean DIFFERENT! They are all in to believing the lake they live on is haunted by this creature of the deep, but I don’t believe any of that                   As I walk into my aunt’s house I got a weird vibe like something is watching me. I had I feeling something was going on so I walk into the dining room and my Aunt and my cousins were all sitting at the table crying. My aunt runs to me and gives me a big hug “What’s wrong?” I ask “Lilly went out swimming and never came back out” said my aunt. Lilly was my favorite cousin the only normal one now how am I supposed to make it through the summer without her. I hug my aunt and start balling my eyes out, “WE MUST FINDE HER I SHOUTED, IM NOT GOING TO LET HER DIE OUT THERE” I rush out the door but my aunt stops me “we have looked for hours and nobody has found her” my aunt cried. “BUT WE MUST HAVE HOPE” I shouted and ran off to find a boat   3 weeks past but nobody found her, until one day as I was paddling across the lake and through the fog I saw something banging across the rocks. I paddled as fast as I could to get over to the mysterious object. And with my own to eyes I saw my cousin, dead as a rock. I picked her up and started screaming, she had bite marks and scrapes across her thin cold body, I was so set out on figuring out what did this to her that I didn’t relies that the boat was banging against the rocks until it was too late and the boat flipped. I grabbed the rocks and jumped back into the boat. But then it happened, I got that vibe something was watching me, so I looked around and out of the corner of my eye I saw this creature, but when it looked at me it wasn’t the look of anger it was look of fright, I think the thing was actually scared of me. I turned around it get a better look at it but It was gone. I paddled back to the house and carried my cousin inside; I laid her on the floor and ran to get my Aunt. Everyone came running and screaming; my aunt hugged me and called 911, I told the cops about everything I saw but they didn’t believe me. The funeral was held 4 days ladder at satton church.  Everyone was overcome with grief. But for some reason I had the feeling again, the feeling that some on was watching me, I looked around the room and there it was, sitting outside the window, was the creature staring right at me.
