So, we were on the bus from our volleyball game,
playing "truth or dare". I was next to the girl,
the girl that has 50 friends, and is gorgeous.
I said, "truth or dare?" she answered "truth."
I said, "do you have a crush on anybody from our class?"
she thought a bit and smiled and said, "yes, i do."
i nodded, expecting her to tell me. After an akward
silence, she answered, with his name. My heart stopped
beating for at least 4 seconds. She started explaining with
everything I already knew, "he's sweet, and hes so funny,
and he IS really cute." I already knew this, she didn't have to
tell me twice. I looked at her and smiled, trying to hide the
utter dissapointment in my voice, "yeah, youre completely right."
i said, making sure my voice didn't break, she smiled.
For the rest of the bus ride, whenever i brought up his name,
she said, "hey, he's mine." And for the rest of the bus ride, all
I wanted to say was,
"But, I love him."
