When I was seven, I met you, and I rode you for the first
time.
You followed me off command wen I was eight. i remember us
running around your pasture one summer; carefree and
reckless.
I started leasing you the following summer, I was so happy I
cried. I remember entering our first show. I was crushed when we
didn't place. But that was motivation, we trained harder, and
ended up placing fifth in a class of fifteen.
We started jumping that winter. I got so discouraged when you
refused, and I fell off numerous times. It really made me
stronger.
I'd cry when my mom wouldn't take me to see you, no
matter the circumstances.
It was such an amazing seven years.
Why did you have to go?
You were my best friend, and the best horse I could've asked
for.
I love you, Louie<3
