i am just the typical teen growing up in south jersey. i live for summer, music, and love. i go to concerts like it's my job and have the widest range of favorite music. i am also a dancer, twelve years babyy. i love how i can express myself through my movements and get lost in a song. when you truly dance you feel the emotion behind the music. dance is also one of the only times i am graceful. i am probably the most awkward person to be around until i get completely comfortable with you. most people think i am quiet and shy, but they just don't know me that well. if i can yell and be crazy and sing and dance around you and not be shy about it, you're special. i have a select few best friends who know that side of me. they wouldn't know who you were talking about if you said i was shy. those few people i have been close with since kindergarten and plan on remaining as close for the rest of my life. i love my friends to death.

Today was the last day of school,
me, a group of our friends, and this guy in eighth grade that i've had a crush on for a few months were saying our goodbyes and walking to our busses. That guy, Tyler, said, "bye," to me, and i replied, "Byee TYLER." Our friends had gotten on their busses and he turned around and said, "Byee.." real soft and sweet. i then said, "Cortni." (i was thinking he didn't know my name?) Then he started coming closer, "I know," he said quiet enough so only i could hear, "give me a hug."
and he hugged me in the rain.
In science, we are working on a project and him and his friend are my group. Today, we were sitting at our table, and i sat next to him of course, but he told his friend (jokingishhhhly) that if his friend weren't in the group it would be the dream team. He said he and I were the dream team.
