Well you start as nothing then progress as you choose. You start around like 6th grade age, but only have until the day of your 18th birthday to get to Eagle, the highest rank. You gotta go through scout, tenderfoot, second class, first class, star, and life to be able to get Eagle. It takes time, certain merit badges, x amount of service hours, and other skills to progress to the next rank. When you reach life you need to do a community service project you coordinate and are in charge off with permission of certain peoples etc. It shows your leadership and dedication to get it and take a long time. After that you do some board of reviews where you do stuff, idk exactly, and the council members decide if you become Eagle or are not ready.
I would learn gymnastics but I don't have the time nor the money to do so. And don't worry if you're rambling I feel like I am more than you, lool
