Do YOU remember, when we first met ? It was at the lake, about... lets say 5 years ago . yeahh, we would see eachother everyday, and we would always joke around with eachother . You had THEE prettiest eyes i had ever seen . And then, when i started day camp, i saw you there too . I would always look for you, i always wanted to talk to you . I guess I had a little crush on you . And oh, did I mention your smile made my day, everyday .
But then the summer ended, and so did the next school year, and I guess we both kind of figured we were too old and too cool for day camp and the little lake in town, and we both stopped going to both of them . And I stopped seeing you for a while... I mean, i would see you at the town carnival, and sometimes when I went out, but it wasn't often . I didn't like this change . But I learned to live with it, I was just like, "I guess maybe he forgot about me" I knew you had new, more friends now, and I did too . And you probably thought it would be wierd hanging out with me now.. even though I'm only 1 year younger than you .
But then, something else happened... The transition from elementary school into middle school . I saw you . I was going into 7th grade, and there you were, in the 8th grade hallway . I didn't think it was you at first, but it was! It was you, but not you, at the same time.. You were dressed in all black, long hair covering those gorgeous eyes, and baggy black pants . And I could've sworn i saw scars on your wrists . I wondered to myself, "what happened to him.."
I was afraid to say hi to you, because I knew that I, too, had changed . And you probably wouldn't recognize me . So I didn't talk to you, I didn't say hi, I just walked right past you . And so, everyday I walked past you in that hallway, so tempted to talk to you again . But I never did, and I don't know why..
Then THAT school year ended, and you went on to be a freshman in highschool, and now, I'm still stuck in this middle school for another year . So what did I do ? I friend requested you on Facebook . And everyday I stay on, all day, hoping that you will sign on so I can message you, and ask you, "Do you remember when we were little?" Because you're one of those people who I just won't forget, no matter what happens . And I just wanna know, will you remember me too.. ?
