Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is a mystery.
But today is a gift from God,
and that's why it's called the present.

Hello! My name is Elizabeth :) I'm a 15-year-old Catholic. A few of my likes? Well, I enjoy art, piano, manga, anime, k-drama, and, a favorite of all, chocolate :P There isn't much to say, so I'll end it here.
Thanks for visiting!

In case you're wondering where the image is from, it's a scene from my favorite movie (and book), Howl's Moving Castle :)

I don't know why people are making a big deal out of 12-12-12...
There's still gonna be a February 2, 2022, meaning:

Still, repeating numbers...
How To Marry a Fan: Chapter 1

My name is Emily Brighton, and I'm seventeen. My family is the usual: one older sister, one little brother, a mother, and a dog slightly older than me. The only thing unusual is the absence of my dad.
You see, a hobby of mine is writing. I love writing. A fond memory that my mom always shares with me is when I was three, and so eager to write, that when I could finally write my name, I did it all over the walls. Now, of course, I'm writing stories. When I turned seventeen in May, my sister recommended this fan fiction site where I could publish my stories. What I didn't expect, though, was that it was a site where you wrote stories about celebrities. I didn't mind, and 'published' my story. However, it got no recognition at all. No views, no comments... no nothing.
After a few days of observing, I noticed that the famous stories were ones involving famous artists. Most importantly, the current 'it' band, One Etc., which consisted of Alex Stein, James Parker, Frankie Mann, Brad Tomas, and Austin Hollis. I've heard of them (something impossible not to, since they're everywhere), but I've only listened to a couple of their songs. Not a fan, nor a hater. But if I wanted my stories to be seen, I had to include them. So I decided to use the most popular member, Alex, as the protagonist. Even though, from all five, I found James the cutest. And, BOOM! My story became the most famous one in the site. I was currently writing the tenth chapter of my second story when I got the letter.
"This came in for you," my mom announced, waving a large envelope around.
I frowned. "A letter?"
Her green eyes brightened, her smile widening. "Could it be from a secret admirer?"
Yes, I write romance. But romantic comedies. Unlike me, my mom is a huge cheesy romance fan. "Mom, please. First of all, I go to an all-girls school. And I don't know any boy." Standing up, I grabbed the envelope, smiling playfully at her.
She stepped inside, sitting on my bed. "Open it, then. If it's not from a boy, then I don't see why you should open it in private."
"Fine," I replied, making a big show of ripping the envelop open. I got out a large sheet of paper, with text typed on it. I began to read.
Dear Ms. Brighton,
Last month, you entered a writing contest with your first story, 'Agent Jerk'. We're pleased to inform you that you won.

I laughed, not believing what I'd just read.
The prize was set to be xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx amount of dollars. But seeing as you're a fan of One Etc., we've decided to make you join a project involving them.
I frowned.
You might've heard of How to Marry a Fan? Its first season finished airing last month, and it was a huge hit. We used five actors last season, but this time, we've decided to use One Etc. and all its members. As you know, five fans are chosen to participate in a set of challenges. After one week, each famous participant will get to choose the girl that left a nice impression on them, and for the entire season, they will act as a married couple. Once the season is done, you'll get your amount of money. Please contact-
"No way!" my mom exclaimed, her eyes widening.
I dropped the paper on my bed, pointing at it as if it were an alien. "What in the world- I want money!"
"Me too!" mom exclaimed, grinning in excitement. Apparently, she'd been reading behind my shoulder.
I gaped at the paper. "I don't want to got on TV... millions of people will see me."
"They will see your epic beauty," Mom clarified. She waved at the paper. "Plus, with that amount of money, I can get the new kitchen set I want and I'd still be rolling in dough."
I turned my gape to her. "Mom!"
"What?" she asked. "It's an amazing opportunity."
"I'm not participating, and that's the end of it," I stated, crossing my arms.
My mom should've been a lawyer. Because the next thing I knew, I was packing and heading to California.

On a quiet evening at the beginning of May
When the bat was in the skies
I heard a tearful young maiden
Singing beneath the shadow of the green branches
The sun was setting in the sea
And no stars yet graced the sky
When the young girl sang sorrowfully
"My love is on the high seas."

The music enticed me
Nearer to the brown-haired maiden of the warm eyes
And she prayed to the King of Heaven
"Protect my love on the high seas"
Her heart was breaking with love
When I took her by the hand
"Wipe your eyes, your love is safe
I have returned to you from the high seas"
