How is it fair
that it is always she,
The prettiest,
skinniest, it never can be me.
The one with
all the friends and the perfect hair,
While I stand
next to her, she without a care.
A boyfriend who
loves her, and a daddy’s little girl
Always told
she’s beautiful like a pure white pearl.
How is it fair
that it is always she,
The loved one
she is, it never can be me.
How can I deal
with this sadness I feel,
When she walks
around, people following her heel?
But of course,
the good girl I am,
She the rebel,
but watched like a lamb.
Her the
majestic swan and I the ugly duck?
Her the lottery
and I only worth a buck?
Why must she be
first, leaving me in last,
Like a race, I
am slow and she is fast?
One day will I
see the finish line all the way in front,
Or do I have to
be like her, and pull a crazy stunt?
How can I stay
myself and still feel free,
If no one
can accept the true me for me?
How is it fair
that it is always she,
The better one
in all ways, never me?
