I just think people are just too afraid of change. But really what's changing? A guy will call his boyfriend his husband, and a girl will call her girlfriend her wife? I mean, that's really just it, marriage is just a slip of paper saying that two people love eachother. And there are a bunch of people who don't even believe in marriage, yet you don't see them protesting it. I think people just fear that Gay will become the majority and straight will become the minority. And people have it in their heads that gay parents can only raise gay children, like straight couples only raise straight babies, right? haha. I just tell people "If you don't like gay marriage blame straight people, they're the ones that keep having gay babies."

And I don't think God hates gays. I mean, why would he create something he hates? There's really no sense to it.

I know quite a few people who are Gay and see what they go through and it just make me mad beyond belief. My sister is Transgendered (ftm) and my Boyfriend is Bisexual. I also have other family and friends that are gay. I think people are just brainwashed by society to believe that it is wrong because of a silly little book. People just hear other people say it's bad, so they try and go along with them. People need to stop and make their own decisions instead of "Trying to preach Gods word". No one is born Homophobic. I think love is better than hate. I fully respect peoples religions, I don't care in what you believe in until you start taking other peoples rights away. My boyfriends mother is also a Christian, but he is an Atheist. I don't have any religion, I believe in what I want to believe in without labeling myself. Which I wish a lot more people could do. There's just all these people trying to live up to the Bible without realizing how hurtful they are being. They don't see the damage they cause, and if they do they simply don't care.

So sorry! if i meant to seem rude on your quote. What I meant was you are not the rude/etc. gross one. Your mum should be accepting of your religion. If I had a daughter with a different religion I wouldn't do anything , because now that your older you have every right to choose your religion. I say older because babies dont have the option whether or not they want tlo be baptised.
