This must be hard for you, and I would say just try again in a split second, if it weren't for him going into the military... If you two stay in contact it is possible that you could continue your relationship afterwards, but that is a very long wait, and you will need to tak to him about that, I know that there is no way to keep him out of the military, as that is my plans after high school, and I wouldn't give it up for anything. But if you try to continue your relationship now, you will just make it harder to separate, and you may become astranged to each other over time, and that could ruin your future. I really have no solid opinion on this, because anything you do is hard, but, my advice it to try and wait, do you know how long he'll be deployed?

Thank you for your thoughts. I think he's gone for 6 months for boot camp and then he comes back for a few months. I'm going to be a freshman in college and I don't known if the future hold me and him together. I care about him and I will write him while we are both away. I just don't know if it'll work out between us in the future. I'm just nervous
